Many fans have noticed that Yashasvi Jaiswal has recently been spending a lot of time working on his wicketkeeping skills. 🧤🇮🇳
The reason seems quite clear. He is trying to become a more versatile player and strengthen his chances of earning a regular place in India's ODI setup.
At the moment, India's World Cup plans are still centered around experienced players like Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, so Jaiswal may have to wait a little longer for his opportunity.
However, adding wicketkeeping to his skill set could prove to be a valuable asset for both him and the team in the future.
Could Shubman Gill and Yashasvi Jaiswal become India's first-choice opening pair after the 2027 ODI World Cup? Could Ruturaj Gaikwad take a middle-order role, with Shreyas Iyer eventually filling Virat Kohli's No. 3 spot? 🤔
