To those that have raised and cared for their children. To those that for whatever reason weren’t able to care for their children as they had hoped. To those mothers that left this world too quickly. To those mothers that have their babies abiding in a different place. To those whose babies abide in heaven. To those who Mother their community. To those that weren’t or aren’t able to mother. To those that mother another’s children. To those that provide a mother role. To surrogate mothers. To all mothers that I may have forgotten.

I see you all, I hear you all.

Phytoestrogens crowd out oestrogen produced by the body and can potentially relieve symptoms of menopause and PMS 💚♥️💛

A rich source of Iodine as well as manganese which is essential for the uptake of iodine, energy producing iron 🏋🏼‍♀️, bone building calcium and magnesium🦴, heart healthy folate ♥️, immune boosting zinc 🦠, salicylate reducing molybdenum 💪🏼, and blood and bone strengthening vitamin K 🩸 🦴.

Not least a great source of B vitamins and amino acids 💥.

Graduation finally happened! 👩🏼‍🎓💚

3.5 years of hard work and dedication!

Studying whilst running a business, and supporting a family is not easy. You make many sacrifices along the way...

.. that said it’s one of the most rewarding times of my life! 🏆

Saturdays celebration made it all seem real and provided the inspiration needed to carry on and share my knowledge with those that need it.

Salsa and green salad lunch

Tasty nutritious lunch using up some slightly squidgy tomato’s & a little onion! Green salad was made from an about to turn lettuce, cucumber & watercress dressed with a pot of tahini dressing! 😋 the bruschetta was two rock hard baguettes 🥖 🤪

Top tip is to chop the onion & drizzle over a little olive oil, then squeeze the onions in the oil & leave to stand for 10mins. This takes the bitterness out of the onion & stops it repeating on you for hours after!🥴

This lunch can easily be packed into containers and taken to the beach 🏖♥️

Salsa:
2 large tomatoes
1/2 and onion
1/2 bunch coriander (optional)
lime
salt

Green salad:
Whatever you have left! 👍🏼
Little gem lettuce
Mini cucumber
Watercress

Dressing:
Tahini
Water
Soya sauce

Method:
1. slice bruschetta & brush with olive oil (I used my fingers as I’m camping & don’t have a brush)
2. dice onion & squeeze in olive oil, leave for 10 mins
3. Chop tomatoes & coriander, combine with onions, add squeeze of lime & pinch of salt
4. Smash the cucumber & chop
5. Shred lettuce, combine with 🥒 & watercress
6. Mix 3 tbsp of tahini with 1 tbsp soya sauce & 4 tbsp water - stir and drizzle over green salad
7. Lightly fry (I’m camping remember) bruschetta on a medium heat
8. Serve!!
