Feeling proud to present 10 newly qualified teachers who spent the half term working with refugee families from Calais.

The little ones cried on the last day of the assessment, the teenagers hugged the teachers in gratitude and the parents thanked us and then booked weekly classes.

As a result, these teachers learned to deliver quality lessons, 4 have already gained employment and every child left happy.

This was a unique group that created some beautiful moments.

Another successful course delivered to 6 great, newly qualified teachers

As a tutor, we can support upto 12 trainee teachers in providing education and training.
Each teacher can go on to teach approximately 65k students over 9 months.
That works out to 1,170,400 lessons in 40 weeks of a year.

Proactive and determined, by providing courses and training for instructors in lifesaving and swimming teaching, we continue to work with people and organisations with similar goals.

When you know better, you can do better.

The major Aquatic leaders in the UK are putting together a 10 year strategy. As one of the few master trainers in lifesaving and teaching, I'm setting up 'to level up' the aquatics industry and show how important it is:
"to be a part of the core audience".

I'll be offering opportunities for aspiring swimmers, instructors and those who need a space to grow their business.

We're training the trainer with the help of NTA Darren Taylor from the RLSS UK.

Being the trainer means we are representing the educational needs of aquatic trainees, upskilling as educators and leading the lifesaving curriculum offered by industry leading organisations.

There are a few prerequisites for the course and once achieved, we would like to explore how first aid, lifeguards and Trainer/Assessors can gain employment in the aquatics industry.

This Easter Polaris is hosting people from Birmingham & Wolverhampton to attend courses in London and enable more people to access quality lessons with the help of TA Gianluca and NTA Darren from the as well as to help us provide more opportunities for employment and training in aquatics.

We're working with fantastic organisations like to open even more opportunities for grassroots swimmers to access quality swimming lessons.

We welcomed the first families to join the B.O.S.S Winter program in Greenwich this week, supporting the trainee teachers to gain qualifications.

The National Lifesaving Academy program will be available to all members to emphasise the case that lifesaving must also be included in the Water Safety Bill as part of the national curriculum.

We're helping to share this message and you can learn with us in October when we hold 12 spaces for new applicants to join our courses during Black History Month.

After delivering 2 courses in the last 2 weeks, 20 new swimming teachers are ready to shift the culture for great learning experiences, with the guidance of some supportive teachers, managers, trainers, assessors and organisers.

It takes a community. This is the education we want to see.
