Have you ever experienced something so scary you never want to do it again …?
Falling in love, heartbreak, leg break, car accident, horse accident, the list is endless.
Life is hazardous. Doesn’t mean we give up. After 24 years of riding a motorbike, this has been my first incident. AND IT WAS ENTIRELY NOT MY FAULT. Therefore, I will endeavour to recover from the PTSD and get back in the saddle.
My motorbike should be arriving at the shop soon … eeekkk … something to look forward to 😎

Rehab feels good.
Its been a very inward time (despite my frequent social media updates 🤪😝😌) behind the scenes I’ve spent extended time alone.
Doing my spiritual practice.
This includes-
* Twice daily practice of Transcendental Meditation
* Chanting healing mantras out loud
* Lighting candles and saying prayers
* Yoga stretches
* Dancing around my studio to various beats and rhythms
* Eating nourishing food and drinking high grade wine
Which part is the most ‘spiritual’ 😜

Do you use lots of sunscreen?
I use very little sunscreen, because I don’t believe the sun to be toxic. I think it’s quite likely that the creams are more toxic than the sun, but the cream manufacturers want us to believe we need excessive slathering of the stuff.
Sure a little dash at the start of the season, and thereafter just an hour of sun exposure a day. Soaking up every ray. All good things in moderation 😌

Im not the type of personality to sit around at home moping about broken bones, knees and damages.
It’s a skill we must learn- ‘to dust oneself off and try again’ 🎶

Left leg getting so thin. 🫤 Must get to the gym …
This motorbike accident has broken me open in so many ways. To the fragility of life, and also to my own courage and resilience.
Sustaining a fractured pelvis has put into question my woman ness, as I practice loving kindness for my reproductive system- The pelvis is the structural bowl, the protector of our sexual organs. I love it very much.
I am in the midst of a spiritual regeneration. Throughout my time in hospital and now during my recovery at home I have spent extended time in the transcendent. Practicing Transcendental Meditation has allowed me to go beyond the pain body and heartache.
I ditched the paracetamol as soon as I returned home and instead leaned heavily into Ayurvedic medicinal herbs. This body is recovering at light speed, because that is what we are made up of.
