Following a year as the club’s second best social sec, Marlen thinks he has what it takes to be our VP. Even if he rarely managed to show up to socials on time, he is making up for it by slowly improving his game. He finally knows the name of each club in his golf bag, and is now brave enough to step onto a golf course. Shockingly his biggest rival is a certain footballer who’s played golf less than 3 times in his life.
Our dear Marlen is a man with many hobbies, but remarkably he has no talent for any of them. For example he may claim to be a master guitarist, but in reality he can barely play 3 songs.
In fairness he always proves himself on a night out. Marlen has never been a stranger to tables. You’ll soon recognise his signature move, keeping his hand in front of his face while he composes himself after 2 pints.
At the end of the day, Marlen is the heart and soul of QMBL Golf. We all know he will make a fine VP and shape our club’s future in a big way.
