Kilo TT bike. The left hand crank is a smaller gear then the right hand crank. The sprocket on the right side is only just started on the thread. When you start you are not only pushing the lower gear from the left hand side but winding the right side sprocket on. Once the right side in fully tighten you then have a higher gear for the remainder of the kilo TT.
