🔵 FULL TIME: BRIGHTON 3–0 ARSENAL 🔴

Absolutely dreadful. Rubbish. ALL of them. No excuses whatsoever.

That wasn’t just a bad result—it was a terrible performance from start to finish.

Brighton wanted it more. They pressed us, outfought us, won the important duels and punished mistake after mistake. We looked nervous on the ball, defensively all over the place and completely lacked the fight and intensity that you expect from this Arsenal team.

And let’s be completely honest—it could quite easily have been four or five.

Yes, this is our first league defeat of the season. Yes, we are still the reigning champions. But that trophy comes with standards and responsibilities—and today we fell WELL below them.

Credit to Brighton because they thoroughly deserved their victory. They celebrated their 125th anniversary by embarrassing the Premier League champions on their own pitch.

There’s no point dressing it up or trying to find positives where there weren’t any.

Poor. Poor. POOR.

Brighton 3–0 Arsenal.

A long international break now for Mikel Arteta and these players to sit with this result, look at themselves and make sure we never see another performance like that again.

What on earth did we just watch, Gooners???.....

🔵 MATCHDAY: BRIGHTON vs ARSENAL 🔴

Right, I’m running a little late today—but we’re here! 😱😂

The champions are back in Premier League action as we travel to the Amex to face Brighton.

Four league games, four wins—and seven wins from seven in all competitions. You really couldn’t ask for a better start, but make no mistake, this will be a proper test.

Brighton are playing well, scoring plenty of goals and coming into this one full of confidence after putting five past Coventry. So we cannot afford to be casual or start slowly.

I want to see us control that midfield, stay switched on defensively and be ruthless when the chances come. Keep this winning run going and bring another three points back to North London!

My prediction: Brighton 1–2 Arsenal.

What are we saying, Gooners—another Arsenal win today?

🏆 FULL TIME: IPSWICH TOWN 2–4 ARSENAL 🔴⚪️

We’re through to the next round of the Carabao Cup!

Nine changes, a young side—and another win. But tonight belongs to one young man in particular…

MAX DOWMAN! 🌟

Sixteen years old, two goals at Portman Road and a performance full of confidence, quality and absolutely no fear. We all know how talented this young man is, but tonight he gave us another little glimpse of just how special he could become.

Noni Madueke and captain Mikel Merino also got themselves on the scoresheet as Arsenal built up a commanding four-goal lead.

I’m not going to pretend conceding twice towards the end didn’t take a little bit of the shine off it—we should have managed that period better. But this was a much-changed Arsenal side, away from home, getting the job done and giving some of our younger players valuable minutes.

Into the fourth round we go! 👊🏾

Ipswich Town 2–4 Arsenal

⚽ Dowman 7’
⚽ Madueke 16’
⚽ Dowman 47’
⚽ Merino 58’

Seven games. Seven wins. The momentum continues.

How impressed were you with Max Dowman tonight, Gooners???

🏆 CARABAO CUP NIGHT!

Third Round: Ipswich Town vs "The ARSENAL"

Right people, we’re back in action tonight as Arsenal travel to Portman Road to face Ipswich Town in the third round of the Carabao Cup.

I’m expecting plenty of changes to the starting eleven—and to be honest, this is exactly the type of game where I want to see some of the younger players and those who haven’t had many minutes given their opportunity.

I’d particularly like to see Myles Lewis-Skelly involved, and hopefully Max Dowman gets some time as well.

We reached the final last season but couldn’t finish the job. We haven’t won this competition since 1993 (I was actually at Wembley for this game), so I definitely don’t want us treating it as though it doesn’t matter.

Yes, players need to be rested—but the team selected should still be strong enough to go there, perform properly and get us into the next round.

Ipswich away won’t necessarily be straightforward, especially under the lights in a cup game. But I’m going for an Arsenal win.

My prediction: **Ipswich Town 1–2 Arsenal.**

What team would you like to see Arteta start tonight—and what’s your score prediction?

🔴 FULL TIME: SUNDERLAND 0–2 ARSENAL! ⚪️

Well, I might have missed the pre-match build-up today—but I wasn’t missing this result! 😂

It certainly wasn’t an easy game. Sunderland made us work for everything and had the perfect opportunity to take the lead from the penalty spot—but David Raya stood tall and made a massive save.

Then, just two minutes later, Bruno Guimarães produced an absolute stunner for his first Arsenal goal! What a way to open your account. 👏🏾

Bukayo Saka finished the job from the penalty spot in the 96th minute to make absolutely certain of the three points.

Another clean sheet. Another away win. Four Premier League games—and four victories.

Job done at the Stadium of Light. BIG Win The Arsenal, BIG Win.....Onto the next one!

😱 LATE CHECK-IN, GOONERS!

My mind has been all over the place today and I completely missed my usual pre-match post—but I’m here now!

Sunderland 0–1 Arsenal 🔴⚪️

David Raya with the penalty save—and then Bruno Guimarães produces an absolute beauty to put us ahead!

Now let’s manage this properly and bring those three points back to North London.

How are we feeling about the performance so far?

FULL TIME: NAPOLI 0–1 ARSENAL 🔴⚪

Job done in Naples! 👊🏾

It wasn’t always pretty and Napoli made us work for it, but the captain stepped up when it mattered.

A brilliant finish from Martin Ødegaard in the 75th minute, followed by some solid defending to see the game out.

A clean sheet, three points away from home and the perfect start to our Champions League campaign.

Captain delivers in Naples. Onto the next one! 🔴⚪

🔴 FULL TIME: ARSENAL 2–1 CHELSEA! ⚪️

Well…..originally said 2–1 and then I went and changed it to 3-1! I should've left it alone 😂👌🏾

That is a proper statement from the champions.

Going behind after only 77 seconds was far from ideal—but the response was exactly what you want to see. We didn’t panic, we took control and Kai Havertz deservedly brought us level against his former club.

Then our captain Martin Ødegaard completed the comeback in the second half, before David Raya made an important late save to protect the three points.

It wasn’t straightforward, but these are the games champions find a way to win.

Three games. Three wins. Nine points.

London is RED! 🔴⚪️

What did you make of the performance, Gooners?

🔴 LONDON DERBY MATCHDAY! ⚪️

The champions are back at the Emirates—and today Chelsea make the short trip across London!

Both teams have started the season with maximum points, but Arsenal have won our opening two matches without conceding a single goal. Today represents our first major test of the title defence.

Chelsea have looked dangerous going forward, so we must be switched on from the opening whistle. Control the midfield, match their intensity and make home advantage count.

Our recent record against Chelsea has been excellent—but past results won’t win today’s game. This is a new season, a London derby and another opportunity to make a statement.
