Eid Mubarak to everyone

It was our skipper’s birthday on last Sunday, and the whole team came together to surprise him with a birthday cake celebration. 🎂🥳
Skipper RH Rony led from the front with a brilliant all-round performance, scoring 71 runs and picking up 2 wickets. However, the spotlight was stolen by Rashed Ahmed, who smashed his maiden century for the club with a breathtaking 121-run knock. 💯🔥
There were outstanding contributions all around:
• S. Singh starred again with 34 runs and 3 wickets
• A. Paul played a quick-fire innings of 55 runs
• A. Mujed and Shayekh both claimed 2 wickets each
It was also a historic day for London Stars CC, as we secured our biggest-ever victory by 320 runs! The Stars posted a massive total of 407 runs before bowling the opposition out for just 87.

A hard day at the office for our Stars as we suffered a narrow 2-wicket defeat against Simba CC in a closely fought contest.
After an early top-order collapse, S. Singh and SM. Junayed showed great character with a crucial middle-order partnership to steady the innings. Later on, M. Uddin and Jahed Soroar provided a strong finish with some valuable runs at the back end, helping our Stars post a competitive total of 212 runs.
Our bowling unit faced a tough challenge defending the target despite some positive moments early on. Simba CC kept fighting and eventually crossed the line in the final stages of the game.
Once again, S. Singh played a vital role with both bat and ball, giving his all for the team, but unfortunately it was not enough to secure the win this time.
This is not the end for our Stars — we will learn, regroup, and come back stronger next week. ⭐💪

An incredible way to kick off the season with a nail-biting 1-wicket victory over Bharat CC.
Bharat CC set the tone early, putting up 162 runs on a difficult surface. Our bowling unit responded brilliantly, with S. Singh leading the charge by claiming 4 wickets. Captain RH. Rony backed him up with 3 crucial wickets, while H. Shiplu and M. Tamim contributed with 2 and 1 wickets respectively.
Chasing the target was far from easy, but the team showed great determination. Rashed Ahmed played a key innings of 48 runs to keep us in the hunt, while S. Singh added a quick 27 to shift the momentum. H. Shiplu and SM. Junayed held their nerve during the middle phase, setting up a tense finish. In the final moments, SM. Junayed and M. Tamim displayed excellent composure to see the team across the line.
S. Singh was rightly named Man of the Match for his outstanding all-round performance.

Two of the most valuable all-rounders from our championship-winning side — RH Rony and Asraful Islam ⭐
Between them, they claimed an outstanding 39 wickets and scored 727 runs. RH Rony picked up 20 wickets and scored 320 runs, while Asraful Islam took 19 wickets and added 347 runs with the bat.
Both came agonisingly close to centuries on two occasions, but regardless, your all-round contributions were unforgettable and played a huge role in our journey to becoming league champions.

Rajuan Hussain Shihab had a phenomenal season, scoring 592 runs with 2 centuries and 2 fifties — including a monstrous innings of 153 runs.
What an incredible campaign and yet another key factor in our journey to becoming champions.

Best bowler of the league and a true star of London Stars CC — Hussain Ahmed Shiplu ⭐
An exceptional season with 33 wickets, including two five-wicket hauls and a stunning 7-wicket spell.
His impact went beyond the ball as well, contributing a crucial 201 runs in key match-winning moments.
Without a doubt, his magical spinning brilliance was one of the main reasons London Stars lifted the league title for the very first time.
