Join Roll Happy as we bring our skate school to .uk for a special beginner-friendly rink session. With instructors on hand all night to help you get rolling smoothly.

If you’re learning to skate this is your chance to tackle the rink with a crowd who will hold your hand, cheer you on and give you tips when you need them.

And if you’re completely new to skating we’ve got you! Our instructors are experts at helping even the most nervous skaters get going.

We split our classes into 4 levels, so you can learn with skaters at a similar stage of their journey. Have a read to see which one is right for you, then head to the website to see the schedule and book your spot.

🛼 Level 1
These courses and classes are suitable for absolute beginners, anyone who is feeling wobbly or wants to build their confidence. Our skate instructors will take things slowly and go over the basics, making sure you feel safe and supported.

Suitable for:
• Absolute beginners
• Anyone who is feeling nervous
• People who want to go slow

🛼 Level 2
If you can roller skate forwards, backwards and stop our level two courses will be a good fit for you. At this level you will build on the basic roller skating skills we teach in our level one classes. If you’ve done some skating before you can take a level 2 course without taking level one.

Suitable for:
• People who’ve done a bit of skating
• Anyone who wants to refresh their skills
• Skaters who’ve completed Level 1

🛼 Level 3
Designed to give you something new to work on, whether that’s an introduction to Artistic skating, some new dance moves or tricks and skills that use intermediate level techniques. You will need to be able to skate forwards, backwards, turn and stop.

Suitable for:
• Those wanting to continue to learn
• Skaters who've completed Level 2
• Intermediate level skaters

🛼 Level 4
Designed to take your skating skills to new heights. These classes have been created to challenge our skaters. Learn advanced techniques, new choreography or how to link moves.

Suitable for:
• Anyone looking for a challenge
• Skaters who've completed Level 2 or 3
• Intermediate & experienced skaters

Next Farringdon course starting soon. Are you ready for your next challenge?

Join us for 4 weeks of 90 minute lessons. Our instructors will introduce you to key skills needed to build control on your roller skates. They will break down rhythm and jam skating moves and show you how to combine them to create fun routines and sequences. Learn about timing, musicality and how to dance on your skates. Build your confidence and improve your balance and core strength. All in a safe and inclusive indoor space with mirrors and bars to help you perfect those moves.

What will I learn?

Footwork and rhythm skating skills.
How to spin, glide and turn with style.
Exercises to improve your balance and coordination.
Drills that you can practice at home.
How to dance on your skates.
How to create fun roller dance routines.

Roll Happy is coming to Roller Nation! After helping thousands of people discover the joy of roller skating, we’re bringing our skaters, instructors and friends together for a very special Sunday Social at London’s only roller rink. Tickets available now - link in bio ⚡️

Join us on Sunday 4 October for an evening of beginner-friendly skating, music and good vibes. Whether you’re already skating with Roll Happy, have recently started learning, or have never stepped inside a rink before, you’re welcome. Fancy trying skating before investing in your own wheels? Skate hire and safety gear are included. Come to practise your skills, try something new, or just have some good clean fun with your mates.

On the night:
☀️ Roll Happy instructors will be skating throughout the evening, offering tips, encouragement and a helping hand.

💪 Mini workshops will pop up, giving you the chance to learn new skills.

🎵 DJs all night, including Roll Happy’s very own DJ RozieBee, bringing the feel-good tunes you know and love from our regular Social Skates.

🛼 Skate hire and safety gear is included, so you don’t need your own skates. Bring your friends, family or anyone who’s always wanted to give skating a go.

🍹 Bar on site, so you can come along, hang out and enjoy the atmosphere, even if you don’t fancy skating.

New to roller skating? Don’t worry, we’ve got you! If you’re nervous or wobbly you’re in good company. This is a beginner friendly event, and our instructors will be around to help you get rolling.
