The FINALE of WRIST LOCK THURSDAY! 🥋🔒

Week 4: Shihō-Nage (Four-Direction Throw)

For our final installment, I'm demonstrating the Shihō-Nage from my private dojo—a spectacular technique that combines wrist control with a powerful throwing motion!

What makes Shihō-Nage so impressive:

✅ Controls the wrist while rotating the entire body
✅ Creates a devastating throw in multiple directions
✅ Can be applied from various grips and angles
✅ Demonstrates complete dominance over your opponent

The name "four directions" comes from the versatility of this technique—you can throw your opponent forward, backward, left, or right depending on the situation. It's a perfect example of how wrist control leads to full-body control.

This has been an incredible four-week journey exploring practical self-defense techniques. At Ikigai Karate Academy, this is what we mean by "Karate for All"—traditional training with real-world application.
