Mark Allen lost 17-16 to Wu Yize in one of the most extraordinary semi-finals snooker has ever seen. But it’s Frame 14 that will never be forgotten.

ONE thing Mark Allen is not happy about.

Allen believes tournament officials intervened behind the scenes to pressure referee Marcel Eckardt into calling the re-rack, something World Snooker Tour strongly deny.

“It’s just very coincidental that Rob Spencer appeared and Marcel’s next words were three shots each.”

Was it embarrassing — or just elite-level tactics? 👇 You decide!

🔢 England's Squad Numbers Are Out — And They're Giving EVERYTHING Away!

Tuchel hasn't announced his starting XI yet. But the squad numbers did it for him. 👀

Here's what the numbers are telling us 👇

1️⃣ Pickford — No surprises, he's the #1
4️⃣ Declan Rice — The engine room, confirmed
9️⃣ Harry Kane — Obviously. The man, the mission
1️⃣0️⃣ Jude Bellingham — Gets the iconic 10 ahead of Morgan Rogers
1️⃣1️⃣ Marcus Rashford — Pips Anthony Gordon to the #11. Big call.

🤔 The intrigue:
• Ezri Konsa gets #2 — right-back or centre-back?
• Reece James holds onto his Chelsea #24 — could he start over Konsa?
• Elliot Anderson gets #8 — higher priority than many expected
• Eberechi Eze ( #21) and Ivan Toney ( #22) make the squad after surprise recalls

England kick off against Croatia on June 17th, and if these numbers mean what we think they mean, Tuchel's starting XI is already set.

Kane. Bellingham. Saka. Rashford. Rice. 💪

Is THIS the England team that finally ends 60 years of hurt?

🔴 YES — this squad can win it

“If we win the World Cup, I would certainly be among the favourites for the Ballon d’Or.”

Kane isn’t here to be modest. And why should he be?

61 goals. A domestic double with Bayern Munich. A record-breaking season under Vincent Kompany. The England captaincy. The man arrives at the World Cup in the form of his life — and he knows it.

Now he wants the one thing that has always been just out of reach, glory with England. Six decades of hurt. Three near misses in major finals. And a new coach in Thomas Tuchel who Kane already knows and trusts from their time together in Munich.

“I loved his personality and his ideas. In a way, he brought those methods to the national team.”

The squad is settled in Florida. The tournament is 9 days away. And Kane is laser-focused.

“The ambition is to win the World Cup. It’s exciting, although it also creates pressure.”

Win the World Cup. Win the Ballon d’Or. Simple as that.

Could 2026 finally be Harry Kane’s year, and England’s? 🤔

🔴 Yes — Kane lifts the World Cup AND wins Ballon d’Or
🟡 England go deep but Kane misses out on Ballon d’Or
💚 Not this time — Mbappé wins both

🚨 BREAKING: Cole Palmer. Phil Foden. Harry Maguire. ALL Left Out of England’s World Cup Squad!

Some big, BIG names are staying home this summer.

The headline shocks 👇

❌ Harry Maguire — Posted on social media that he’s “shocked and gutted” after being axed despite impressing in recent call-ups
❌ Cole Palmer — Chelsea’s star man, left out after an underwhelming season
❌ Phil Foden — No place for the Man City midfielder either

Maguire didn’t hold back: “I was confident I could have played a major part this summer. I’ve been left shocked and gutted by the decision.”

Tuchel was ruthless. Even John Stones made it despite barely playing since December.

Tuchel’s calls are bold. But are they the RIGHT calls?

🔴 Biggest mistake: Dropping Palmer
🟡 Harsh but fair: Dropping Foden
💚 Outrageous: Dropping Maguire

🚨 FIFA Have Singled Out ENGLAND Ahead of the World Cup — And It’s Not Good News...

Just 10 days before the tournament kicks off, FIFA refereeing chief Pierluigi Collina has called out the Three Lions by name, and introduced a brand new rule that could hurt England's chances.

Here’s what’s happening 👇

FIFA are clamping down on wrestling and blocking at corners. From now on, VAR can DISALLOW a goal if an attacker commits a foul BEFORE the ball is even kicked.

And England? They’re already in the crosshairs.

Collina used footage of Adam Wharton body-checking Uruguay’s José María Jiménez at a corner — allowing Ben White to bundle home — as the prime example of exactly what will no longer be tolerated. ❌

“We are convinced that this goal cannot stand. It is completely unfair.” — Collina

And he didn’t stop there. Referees will be briefed specifically on which teams use these tactics, meaning England will be watched VERY closely this summer.

Do you think FIFA are right to crack down, or is this just gamesmanship being policed too harshly? 👇 Let us know below!

Close your eyes for a second. Wembley, 1966. Bobby Moore lifting the Jules Rimet Trophy above his head. Geoff Hurst's hat-trick. That famous line “They think it’s all over… it IS now!”

he greatest day in English football history, stitched into every thread.

Decades on, that red jersey still turns up at barbecues, in beer gardens, and on the backs of dads and grandads every summer, because some things never fade. Some memories never lose their shine. ✨

With the World Cup just 10 days away, England are heading to North America with hope in their hearts once again.

Will we ever see scenes like 1966 again? 🤎

The Golden Boot race is on, and while Mbappé gets all the headlines, two names deserve your full attention…

🇦🇷 LIONEL MESSI, The GOAT has won it all. Every trophy. Every record. But the one thing missing from his legendary career? The World Cup Golden Boot. Argentina are defending champions, Messi is free from the weight of chasing the title — and that could make him MORE dangerous than ever. At 38, this is almost certainly his last World Cup. Don’t be surprised if he saves his best for last. ✨

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 HARRY KANE, The most underrated Golden Boot contender on the planet. A winner in 2018. Joint-top scorer at Euro 2024. Bayern Munich’s unstoppable goal machine. England have one of the most talented squads they’ve had in decades — and Kane is the man they’ll all be feeding the ball to. Clinical, consistent, and hungry. Back him.

Also in the frame:
🇫🇷 Mbappé — the favourite
🇵🇹 Ronaldo — one last shot
🇪🇸 Yamal — the wildcard

But honestly? Our money is on Messi or Kane to steal the show. 🔥

Who’s YOUR pick for the Golden Boot? 👇

Every round Scotland survive at the 2026 World Cup… the challenge gets even bigger. 😅

Qualifying? Tough.
Getting out of the group? Even tougher.
Making the quarter-finals? That would be truly historic. 👀🔥

Scotland have never progressed beyond the group stage in any of their eight previous World Cup appearances between 1954 and 1998.

They did manage to win games at four different tournaments, but heartbreak followed each time, missing out on the knockout rounds by the smallest margins, including cruel exits on goal difference in 1974, 1978, and 1982.

To be fair… this squad gives supporters genuine belief:
Andrew Robertson, Scott McTominay, John McGinn, Billy Gilmour… arguably Scotland’s strongest group of players in years.

Are they favourites? No.
Does anyone seriously expect them to win the tournament? Probably not.

But football has always been about surprises. 😏🔥

So honestly… how far do YOU think Scotland can go in 2026? 👀🏴

💔 "I'm not sure I'm over it yet."

Shaun Murphy has opened up on his heartbreaking World Snooker Championship final defeat, and his words will resonate with everyone who knows the pain of coming so close.

The Magician pushed Wu Yize all the way to a final-frame decider at the Crucible, only to fall 18-17 in one of the most agonising finishes Sheffield has ever seen. 😔

"It is the hardest match to lose because you grow up wanting to be world champion at the Crucible."

Despite the heartbreak, Murphy was full of class in defeat, calling his opponent "an inspiration for absolutely anyone who wants to be a snooker player."

And he's not done yet. "Whilst the opportunities are there, I think we'll all still be going." 💪

Could Murphy go one better and finally lift that second world title? ⬇️

England always enter the World Cup with huge expectations… but realistically, how far can this generation go in 2026? 👀

Historically, England’s most “atteignable” stage has been the semi-final.
They reached it in 2018, made back-to-back Euro finals, and this squad might actually be deeper than that golden generation. 🇬🇧🔥

With players like Jude Bellingham, Harry Kane, Bukayo Saka and a manager like Thomas Tuchel, a semi-final honestly feels like the minimum target. But winning it? That’s where history starts to become a problem. 😅

England are currently among the top favourites for the 2026 World Cup with most bookmakers placing them around the top 3-5 contenders.

The biggest question isn’t talent anymore…
It’s whether England can finally handle the pressure when the huge knockout games arrive. 🏆

So what do you think?
🏴 Quarter-final?
🏴 Semi-final?
🏴 Final?
🏴 Or finally bringing football home in 2026? 👀🔥
