I hear you, it’s definitely hard to get back into the swing of things after a break.

If you’re struggling to get back into the zone here are a couple of things you can do:

1. Be kind to yourself (first and foremost, it’s okay to ease back into the year and the swing of working)

2. Write a list of tasks that you want to accomplish in the next 3 months.

3. Prioritise - I know everything will feel important so “eat the frog first” 🐸🐸🐸no not literally! 😅This is a saying that means to do the tasks that might be hardest or you’re most likely to put off 

4. January is a hard month so focus on your own well-being, drink plenty of water, get the sleep you need, eat nutritious food and you’re already setting yourself up for success.

Growth vs lack mindset

A growth mindset helps to feed our confidence, our self esteem and it enables us to make bold moves and change.

A lack mindset is when we focus on the negatives, we shrink our options, we retreat to our comfort zone and resist change.

Having a growth mindset is hard, primarily because we are hard wired to focus on lack.

In our primal years we used our lack mindset (fear) as a basic survival mechanism to protect ourselves. And today society ingrains in us that we will
never having enough.

Living with a lack mindset prevents us from making change.

To adopt a growth mindset we need to actively train our brains to shift away from fear.

We need to work on changing our thought patterns.

So how do we do this?

➡️Understand what you tell yourself (particularly in moments of stress and fear)

➡️ identify what beliefs you have about yourself that could be holding you back

➡️explore the evidence around those thoughts or beliefs

➡️ start practise gratitude for your daily life

By identifying areas where we are prone to a lack mindset and practising gratitude we can start to shift our thinking to one of growth and abundance.

As we come to the end of the year. It’s time for reflection. 🤔

And also setting intentions - the overarching goal that underpins everything else in your life and business. 🌈

How do we set intentions? ➡️

* Look back on intentions you set in 2022. How do you feel about them now? Were you able to live then? Did they evolve?

* What gave you energy? Where did you feel truly fulfilled and in alignment?

* What drained your energy reserves? What we’re you doing?

* Where would you like to focus next year?

* How would you like to evolve? What would you like to change?

Your intentions should be bold & excite you.

Our intentions create the results and the future we truly crave, empowering us to live in alignment.

Many call this manifestation - I call it ‘intentions and aligned action’.

I want you to imagine you are wearing a backpack. 🎒

You’re not born with it but as you develop you put it on.🐣

And as you walk on this journey of life you pick things up.

Everything you are told about yourself and the world becomes an item that you add to your backpack. 🛍

Every experience you have forms another item that you put inside it 

On your journey you have good experiences, you learn positive things about yourself. These help you on your journey - they are your food, a map or a compass to navigate your way.

But you also have negative experiences, you’re told things about yourself and the world that you believe to be true. Think of these as litter that you pick up along the path.All going into your backpack. 

Whether you know it or not these negative items you are picking up are hindering you on your journey, as the weight of the backpack becomes heavier. 🏋️‍♀️

This antidote is like your journey in life and your beliefs. 🌍

Throughout life we learn things about ourselves and the world and we take that to be true.

This can either help or hinder us. 

Coaching helps you to identify these.. 

It enables you to become aware of how you view the world, what’s important to you, and what beliefs you have formed that could be both serving or hindering you. 

Sometimes we walk along with this huge weight on our backs without even realising it. 

Sometimes we get to a point where we recognise this but don’t know how to unpack the backpack of beliefs that we have carried our whole lives. 

Working with a coach, you can unpack your backpack so that you can continue on your journey feeling lighter and energised. ☀️

Do you feel trapped by your thoughts?

Have you ever found yourself questioning your ability, your confidence or your skills? 🫣

The trouble with this is, our thoughts become our actions. Which creates this self-perpetuating cycle.

If we truly believe something about ourselves it’s hard to break the cycle, even if we want to be rid of it.

To break this cycle, we need to:

✅Identify what we’re saying to ourselves

✅Exploring where that thought has come from?

✅Question the evidence of that thought

✅Deciding whether we want to hold on to it or let it go.

This can be hard to do and whilst there are lots of tools online to help, sometimes you might need a helping hand to work through this. 🫶🏻
