It’s that time of the year again! , new year, new beginning!
This is the time we reflect and think about what we want to change for the new year!
Setting goals, help keep us focused, gives is a purpose and reason to continue!
Do you set goals, start but never finish..
are your goals too big?
Don’t despair, together we can get healthier, fitter and stronger!
One reason could be that they wasn’t SMART:

♦️Measurable
♦️Achievable
♦️Realistic
♦️Time bound
Without being SMART, we will give up , let’s change that pattern and smash them this year!

Now you have set your goals, what exercises do you need to do to achieve your goals..
What is the difference?
Cardio training- Cardiovascular exercise is any vigorous activity that increases heart rate and respiration and raises oxygen and blood flow throughout the body while using large muscle groups of the body repetitively and rhythmically.
Types of activities include:
* Running
* Dancing
* Swimming
* Cycling
* Brisk walk
* Skipping
Resistance training - Resistance training (also called strength or weight training) is the use of resistance or muscular contraction to build strength, anaerobic endurance and size of skeletal muscles.
Types of activities include:
* Pushups
* sit-ups
* chin-up
* squat thrusts
* lunges

Not only during hot weather we need to keep hydrated but drinking water is important as it has the following benefits:
* carrying nutrients and oxygen to your cells.
* flushing bacteria from your bladder.
* aiding digestion
* preventing constipation
* normalising blood pressure
* cushioning joints
* protecting organs and tissues
* regulating body temperature.
Don’t forget you can put lemon, mint in to make it more appealing to drink!

Goal setting!!
It’s that time of the year! Summer’s over, school’s are back, new term..
If you took your foot off the gas over the summer and took a break from training, so you can enjoy the summer!
It’s time to get back into training, but you’re not sure how, one of the things which can help is GOAL SETTING!
Goals, can be big, medium or small, size doesn’t matter.
BUT, they do need to be SMART:

♦️Measurable
♦️Achievable
♦️Realistic
♦️Time bound
