On Friday 17th October, together with our friends from Tatsfield Martial Arts we will be running a self defence and personal protection course between 7pm-9pm.
This is a course we have delivered numerous times over the years to a wide range of organisations such as schools (students & staff), doctors surgeries, running clubs and the WI to name a few.
In the course we focus on awareness and avoidance skills (how not to make yourself a target), and we will teach you simple and effective yet easy to remember techniques.
The course is open to male and females aged 14 or over. No experience or fitness required just lots of enthusiasm.
Kids Karate:
We still have a few places open for our under 8's Karate on a Saturday morning. If they are up early get them out training!
Congratulations to the students who moved up last week. A big step up but they did handled it in the true Karate spirit!

We have 3 spaces in our under 8’s Karate section. This is due to some of our Karate ka moving up to the older session. Congratulations to them who have all trained since they were 5 / 6 years old. We only allow 12 / 14 students in this class as it is the under 8’s.
If you would like any information on the above or any of our classes then please feel free to contact us.

Congratulations to all the junior and senior Ju-Jitsuka's who graded at the weekend! 3 sessions were held, 2 junior and 1 senior. A pleasure to watch all the students demonstrate their syllabus and then fight for the grades.
Regular classes and extra weekend grading prep sessions paying off. Hard work, commitment and dedication is the only way. No app, social media or QR code is going to get you the grade.
Well done to everyone!

Busy few weeks!
Congratulations to Grace Penelli who successfully graded for her black belt in Ju-Jitsu last week. A 3 hour grading topped off at the end with 13 fights against other black belts. Well done Grace, a brilliant achievement.
We have some juniors moving up to our seniors in the new year. I say juniors, they are as tall / taller than me! I am sure Grace will be a great role model for them all.
The last of my original under 8 Karate kids have now moved up to the older class! Brilliant to see how far they have come since they started 2 years ago.
Our older class has now had to change locations as they are getting too big in size and numbers!
Well done everyone.
