It has been such a joy to watch and support the wonderful development of our dancers over the years. We have been teaching these 3 dancers for more than 5 years now and have supported their growth into graceful dancers with determination to continue to improve and reach their full potential as dancers. They have just completed their Grade 6 examination with the Royal Academy of Dance and are now preparing for their Intermediate vocational exam. Well done!

Super shout out of "WELL DONE!" to our students who danced their Royal Academy of Dance exams this past Wednesday in outrageously hot weather. They all dealt with the heat wave superbly well, and we are very impressed with their resolve!

Call out to all ballet lovers: Find your "pointe" with us this summer! We have Children's and Adult Beginning pointe ballet classes for our dancers keen to develop their skill to a higher ⬆️ level. 🩰

First ballet class up "on pointe"! Our latest group of pointe dancers had their first experience on pointe in the studio this past Friday. Most were thrilled. Some feet were hurting, but for the most part, it was a really fabulous day.

Myth buster: pointework doesn't need to destroy toes.
It's all in the strength of the foot, ankle, and core to "lift out" of the shoes and not sink in them. The stronger the ballet dancer- the more success they will have on pointe.

We are thrilled to support our next round of Intermediate Foundation students in reaching a milestone in the life of a ballet dancer: going "up on pointe"! EXCITING was the word of the day yesterday as they were fitted for their first pair of pointe shoes. 😃 🩰💃😍
