The 🌏📸 (or TA for short) is one of the most breathtaking rides you can do on a bike. Partially on road, partially Off (the best bits are off road)

Our good friend and colleague riding buddy, Cassie McCracken has taken JACK on not 1, but 2 TA’s. Through the rain, wind and the beautiful weather.

When asked how it was with JACK, Cassie said:
‘I had my tent and a dry bag with all my sleeping gear strapped to it and honestly was amazing never came loose or moved around and it was so easy to get things on and off. It got thrown around on some of those mountain bike trails and never budged 😎’

Amazing Cassie, hope you can enjoy many many more. And I’m sure we’ll be back to New Zealand one day to ride a little more of this amazing route 🌏🇳🇿

Páme Páme! Riding in Greece 🇬🇷 is always a special occasion.

Today we’re reflex on some riding we did there with routing help from friends of Wholegrain, Pedal Greece.
There are too many beautiful roads that lead through all sorts of nature, bring you into contact with amazing people, great food and create a truly memorable ride.
We MORE than recommend it…

CYCLING 🚴‍♂️ = (Great) COFFEE ☕️
We had great fun filming with the our friends to give you a hint into how good coffee is really made.

If you commute or ride through Clerkenwell North London, and you haven’t tried their great work, we highly recommend. 🥇

Whether you’re a Cold brew or espresso coffee person, their creations are top of the notches. Not an ad! Just a real life review (and fun filming!)

We collaborated with Camille McMillan to create a piece of wiring and narration to our Brand film that we are pretty proud of.
Delivered by a man who has seen most of it out there on the road, and delivered this narration with his honest and clarifying tones 🙏🏽 on a crisp November morning at his place in the heart of Norfolk.

Spending time with Camille we understood again how we could approach the bike and the exploration we do on two wheels, and shared stories about doing just this.

Go check his good work creating unique biking events, and look out for the main event ‘Perseverance’ which starts in a few days.

Bluelug-by-night is like some CRAZY FEVER DREAM of vivid metallic headset spacers and bike part stalactites. The place is ooooozing with character, both because of the guys running the place, and the cave of two wheel wonders they’ve created over the years.

We’ve seen a particular amount of Bluelug love in the last week or so, and thought it was about time we shared the night, ln late 2025, that JACK was hung from the rafters, ready for sale at one of the worlds best bike shops (ask anyone, and they’ll tell you the same).

Big-ups to the team at Bluelug for keeping it really, really, real. ✊🏽

And top tip for their OG Store on Hatagaya, they have a wicked restaurant and bar just round the corner called… you guessed it, ‘LUG’.

If you’re a bike nerd in Tokyo, both are an absolute must-visit.🤓

Last month, the cycling 'power house' that is Liam Winston, took on the huge challenge to cycle up to Shangri-la.
He took CARRIE front and centre of his lightweight bikepackign set up, mounted to CLIFF.
He had a soiree with the mountain Yaks and Goats, and rode through all sorts of conditions, beating sun, drizzling rain, snow and sleet, but he told us it was all worth it for the challenge and the adventure.

STAY SAFE OUT THERE FRIENDS! 😬🚴🏽‍♂️
This week we were told that an old friend and its owner had been maimed ‘in action’.

That pair was Adam and his OG kickstarter JACK who have been riding and adventuring together the last few years with ‘Landy’, this awesome Landyachtz Bikes

Adam was riding home from dinner, just like any other day, and was stuck down by a driver breaking a few bones and ending him and his loverly ride in hospital.
Very very glad to get the email from him sharing this, rather than something worse. 🙏🏽

Our thoughts are with you Adam, and for your lovely ride. Rest up, heal and then enjoy the journey of your rebuild!
Out of dark comes some light.. 🌚>🌞

Shanghai after dark: Once in a blue moon the old school crowd of get together for a whiz around the old military airport with some dumplings and beverages along the way.

Nothing fancy, just bikes and good company.
