Hello Spring! πΈ
Here we are again in these lovely days of June celebrating Jubilee Weekend on two wheels! π΅ββπ΅
This time our adventure took place in the New Forest where we spent 4 wonderful days among horses, meadows, trees, and even one day at the seaside with a stunning view of the Isle of Wigh cliffs. π΄π³π²π
Camping At The Manor turned out to be an excellent place for our base camp. The campfire was warming us every night and the fancy vehicles parked on the campsite provided additional attractions. π
We spent the first day travelling and setting up the camp. We did only 30 km that day, but we already felt the atmosphere of this place and explored some of the bicycle routes with breathtaking views. π
On the second day, there were no excuses. We woke up early in the morning and set off along forest paths, meeting lots of horses blissfully grazing in the meadows, some of them hiding in the forests, moving away from the sun. We also met two types of deers and 3 types of cows! All of this in the beautiful The New Forest National Park. That day we cycled over 40 km on the most staggering, in our opinion, routes in England so far! The wide gravel tracks were great for our wide chariots. Of course, there was a stop at an old English pub to rehydrate and recharge oneβs batteries. π
The next day we went to the coast near Barton on Sea where we had a moment to nap and soak our feet in the sea. Little Monsters had a great time flying kites and exploring the rocky coast. After a few hours of slow time by the water and eating classic fish and chips, we returned to the camp to enjoy a lazy evening. And then suddenly we heard thunder and we saw the first flashes of light in the sky. We barely had time to secure our tents and equipment against a huge storm! β
We fell asleep, lulled by the sound of raindrops falling on the roof of our tent. The next day calm wind and just a slightly clouded sky gave us hope for another beautiful day! We eat a quick breakfast, then packed our stuff in panniers and set off through the New Forest in our farewell journey toward home. π

Wooohooo what a ride! π΄ββοΈ
A big thank you to the organisers of Kidical Mass UK π It was very brave of them to plan a bicycle event with kids in November as the weather is not always favourable for such activities π Today though the conditions were perfect ππ Beautiful sun all the way to the St James Park and back to the Tower Hill πππ It was great to see so many people with passion for cycling passed down from generation to generation π΄ββοΈπ΄ββοΈπ¨βπ©βπ§βπ¦π
Distance (from home, back + the Kidical Mass) 35km πͺπͺ
Last summer was incredible π€©ππ€©
We experienced our first adventures as a family introducing our Little Monster to all kind of outdoor activities... and she loved it!!! π Our brave little girl made us so proud while curiously discovering the world around her - hiking in a backpack carrier, cycling in her trolley or canoeing on the river πΆββπ΅ββπ£ββ
Thanks to Liwia Zuk from Filming Family Stories we have this amazing short film π₯ capturing highlights of those awesome summer months and the essence of our family relationship - thank you!
We are also super happy that Liwia and her lovely family joined us on a few of our adventures as they were great travel companions π

The lovely sunny days of summer are over, but that's not a reason to stay indoor π So, we decided to explore Knole - National Trust Park near Sevenoaks ππ³π
Mysterious misty weather of this early autumn month made this experience truly magical π« We made a few lovely encounters π¦ and even found some forest treasures ππ

Day 1 ποΈπ΅ββοΈπ³
A little warm-up tour with our new travel companions - Leo and his family π¨βπ©βπ¦π΅ββοΈ
14km around our camping area followed by a well-deserved meal made of local delicacies π₯©π³π΄
Day 2 π΅ββοΈπΆποΈ
27km to Fordwich and back for a Canoe Wild adventure πΆ near Stodmarsh National Nature Reserve ποΈ So much fun for our Little Monsters! π Young Leo majestically floated in his canoe, admiring sparkling water and beautiful surroundings as if he owns the river π€΄π Meantime Gaia decided to explore at a deeper level... she leans out a canoe trying to catch passing algae. If given a chance, she would happily jump into the water to enjoy a nice bath time π¦π¦π§ββοΈππ
In the late afternoon, we head toward Ashford. We split into two parties, Leo took his family back home in a car π while the three of us jumped on the bikes and continued travel in our usual way π΅ββοΈπ΅ββοΈ
We didn't expect much from that route, it was supposed to be just a trip to the city to spend more time with friends and also in hope of a warm shower and opportunity to wash our clothes after a week of camping 𧽠What was our surprise when we realised how stunning was the way that we choose. From the green forests π²π³ to the golden fieldsπΎπΎ bathed in the rays of the late afternoon sun πππ with a road gently going up and down, we couldn't be happier with our 30km ride ππ
Day 3 π€Ήπ΅ποΈ
Playtime at Ashford Stour Centre π€Ή was a great way to spend the last hours with our adventure buddies, but it was time to say "Goodbye". Ahead of us was a 30km ride via Wye National Nature Reserve - an area of outstanding natural beauty... ποΈ After nearly one hour of the pretty steep climb we were rewarded by one of the best views in Kent π€©ποΈ Little Monster took a long nap at the top, and we enjoyed the view ππ²π
