WHAT IS YOUR WHY?
🌱 I had this conversation with the other day and it's spurred me on to make this post.
🌱 It's a very simple question, but what is your why? The reason this is important is down to if you don't understand or know why you are doing something, the chance of you sticking to a plan, a diet or a routine is significantly low. Motivation is an "in the moment" boost, however for long term progress you have to be disciplined (how disciplined depends on your goals) and sometimes it will be difficult, it may feel impossible or overwhelming and at those times your why is what will keep you going, keep you focused and keep you wanting more.
🌱My journey started with my Why being to gain confidence and help maintain a stable mental state. Fitness and gym for me is something that changed my outlook on life.
🌱What's your why? Let me know in the comments or DM me if it's personal! I want to hear them!

PROTEIN POWDER REVIEW .
Recently I decided to give Soy Isolate Strawberry Cream protein powder a go to see whether it was worth switching to from what I had used previously. . .
So what do I think of this stuff? IT IS ABSOLUTELY UNREAL. I have never been able to stomach any protein powder I've had before with just water, however this stuff turns water into a creamy frothy texture, which tastes AMAZING! I have never looked forward to having a protein shake before, this stuff changes that. It's almost like it's made to be a dessert and not a protein powder. .
I mix 300ml with 1 heap scoop and it provides the shake with a thick texture which I thoroughly enjoy. .
Have you tried the powder before? If so what are your thoughts?

DIET HACKS THAT WORK!
Lets start by stating I'm not a nutritionist or a diet specialist. These tips are from my own experience and research I have done. I hope they help you stay more consistent with your diet!
1 - Eating large volumes of low calorie dense foods like fibrous veg, sugar free yoghurt and berries are some of my go to staples.
2 - Light to medium intense cardio. Whether it be going for a walk or a cycle I find that staying active helps reduce the amount of cravings I have for junk food and overeating in general.
3 - Plan what you are going to eat and when first thing in the morning and calculate the days calories. This is one of the biggest changes I've made that has helped me stay way more consistent.
4 - Chew food for longer this helps gives your stomach more time to send signals to your brain to tell you that you are satiated, again helping to prevent overeating.
5 - Lastly and absolutely the biggest thing for me is ZERO CALORIE CARBONATED DRINKS! These things help me to beat the junk food cravings to the curb. They aren't exactly healthy, however they have completely stopped me from caving in to cravings. I legit have around 4 cans a day sometimes 😂
I hope this at least helps you all out a little, comment below with your thoughts on these tips!

MYVEGAN BANOFFEE CARB CRUSHER REVIEW
I'm going to start this review by saying MY GOODNESS THESE ARE GOOD! I'm going to break this down into 3 sections: the bars nutritional value, taste, and would I recommend you try these.
NUTRITIONAL VALUE PER BAR
Carbs: 19 grams
Fat: 9.8 grams
Protein: 15 grams
Kcal: 214
So the name Carb crusher would imply that these bars have a very low amount of carbohydrates in, although they do it's not as low as one may think with 19 grams in each bar. This is lower than a lot of protein bars however so we will let it slide. 9.8 grams of fat. Which is basically were the largest amount of calories come from within the bar, so although the carbs may be slightly lower than your average bar they have ramped up the fat content to compensate. The protein content is decent tbh, 15 grams of protein coming from pea protein and soy nuggets. Sidenote - of the 19grams of Carbs only 0.6g are sugar, so it is a super low sugar protein bar. Overall compared to other protein bars I'll give this a solid thumbs up 👍
TASTE - oh sweet taste. Do you have a sweet tooth? Do you love chocolate? Do you love that slight hint of caramel flavour? Do you love 🍌🍌? If all of those are a yes, then you are going to LOVE these bars. The top exterior is made of dark chocolate coating with chocolate chips all over it. Underneath the top chocolate layer is a thin layer of caramel goodness and under that you have the amazingly tasty and mouth watering banana protein bar layer. All in all IT TASTES SO FRICKEN GOOD!!
DO I RECOMMEND? - I absolutely would!!! Putting the name aside the macro split is decent, protein content is average, however the taste is just unbelievable. Go get yourself some of these from and thank me later 😉
I hope yous enjoyed the read, let me know your thoughts below and what you'd like to see next!
