YBFA’s May Half Term Camp returns to Drapers Field for boys & girls aged 5–14.

Football is LIFE 💯

Met this kid in 2024 on a jump started lime bike! 🤦🏿‍♂️🥹

Fast forward 18 months and 2 trials later and umpteenth conversations and visits to different academies we are delighted to announce that yesterday he finally signed his first professional registration.

The fact that it’s our local club and the nearest club in the borough to our base at Drapers Field makes this all the more sweeter!

The fact that he played in the EXCLUSIVELY before being scouted and picked up first by and Arsenal before trailing at

Gods Plan! We thank him for everything and watch this space as you may hear us screaming and shouting about this one quite often going forward.

Mo….time to get to work 🔥

This is our first IG post of 2026!

We hope everyone had a great break and that the year has started well for you.

We’ve been back since 6th January at Drapers Field, running our regular open training sessions, with spaces also available to join our Saturday league teams competing in the Next Generation Super League ().

We’ve also got some exciting fixtures coming up over the next few months, starting with a trip to Leyton Orient next week 💥

Last Friday we took a mixed group of U8s & U9s down the road to play Leyton Orient’s Pre-Academy ⚽️
A good test for both groups and grateful to come away with a positive result ✅

In 2025, Young Ballers FA have had the chance to test ourselves against Crystal Palace, Colchester, Arsenal Dev, Chelsea Dev – and a few others along the way 🏟️

Back again next year aiming for more of the same, as we enter our ninth year working with young players in the local community 💭⚽️

Thanks to for the some of our age groups to visit and play against some TOP players including one of our very own currently trialling in their academy 🥹🔥

We couldn’t think of a better way to spend our break from the than playing some of the best players in the local area!

Lots of positives to take away from the performances and everyone made it home safely

We’re excited to confirm that our October Half Term Camp is ON! 🎉

👦 Ages: 5 – 14
📅 Dates: 27th – 31st October
⏰ Times: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
🌅 Early Drop-Off: From 8:30 AM (£10 per day, must be booked at least 48hrs in advance)
💷 Price: £30 per day | £130 for the full week
🎟 Discount: 20% off for all current YBFA league players

We have 10 FREE spaces available for LBWF residents on Universal Credit.

If you live outside of LBWF but receive Universal Credit and/or Free School Meals, we’ve managed to secure some subsidised spaces for you too! Please email proof to [email protected] to apply.
