We are excited to confirm that Young Ballers Football Aspirations will have two teams competing in our FIRST EVER grassroots football tournament at Draper's Field Football on Sunday 4th September at 11am!

Thank you so much to our friends at the Next Generation Super League for accepting us into both the upcoming tournament and also your brand new U8 league (starting later in September also).

We are told there are still a few spaces left for any teams wishing to enter the tournament.

Every Sunday at 2pm we run a toddler & preschool football session which has really taken off!

So much so, we are shortly going to start a second session.

Young Ballers Football Aspirations owner also works as an academy scout for a London premier league club.

Since 2018 when I was in between jobs and took my first step into coaching I haven’t looked back.

There’s been ups and plenty of downs 😅

But I often remind myself that doing things that you truly love in life IS NOT work.

Too many of us spend our precious hours and years ‘living to work’ instead of ‘working to live’.

Too many of us measure success in the wrong way in life.

Money, material things, popularity etc etc.

Trust me when I say that when all is said and done and you’re taking your last breaths on this planet called Earth, the ONLY thing that will truly matter is the difference you made in people’s lives.

Your legacy will last long after the material things have become obsolete or are destroyed/taken away.

Last Friday Young Ballers Football Aspirations played West Ham United Pre-academy boys at their Chadwell Heath Training Ground.

It was a fantastic opportunity for the players to experience the 5 star facilities and see where World Cup winners like Bobby Moore, Martin Peters and Geoff Hurst used to play.

Very proud of all the players.

Fast Forward ⏩ and he’s now a regular in the team and growing every week. To be fair, the whole group are improving TONS.

The evolution is beautiful to witness and be a part of.

This picture brings me so much joy! 🥰

On Fridays when I leave YBFA to go to West Ham, my 14yr old daughter has really begun stepping up.

Whilst she may not have the “football bug” like I do or wished she did (nor even in this photo is she dressed appropriately 🤦🏿‍♂️😀), she makes me SO PROUD 🥰😍

She is also really proud of me and all the work I’m doing at YBFA. 🏆

She remembers the cold, slow nights when there were only a handful of us training and the numbers wouldn’t even pay for the (pricey) Drapers Field pitch hire. So much for London 2012 Olympic Legacy!!

The transformation over/during/since the pandemic has been unprecedented and of course, working with West Ham as Lead Academy Scout has certainly played a massive part.

Our aims for the future is to make football a full time job not just for me but for my daughter who I have coerced into wanting to be a football coach/agent/all round PLUG 🔌 in the future once she finishes school God willing.

On June 5th and 6th 2021…..Young Ballers Football Aspirations and Young Stars Elite joined forces and held their first ever football showcase for Years 1 & 2.

On the day there was some fantastic talent on show 💫 and one of the players who attended made his West Ham Utd debut on Saturday playing for the new year U7s!!!! ⚒⚒
