To be honest, I have never understood this day... it either leaves you feeling really happy or really sad...
And yet all it is, is a successful marketing stint... (sorry)
Britons are expected to spend £855million MILLION on the day...
and in fact, I don't buy into any of the gimmicks... love can be shown on any day of the year (to anyone)
it might be yourself you are showing love to today and thats the best form of love🌹♥️
so if you take one thing from this today, Valentines is a single day, like any other day... there is no meaning behind it... its a marketing ploy. You have yourself, you can love yourself...
AND in case no one has told you today... you're my favourite❤️

Turning the dial...👇🏽
There are times when you have to turn the dial... study harder, work harder etc
But these are SHORT bursts and should not be an every day event...
Knowing when to whack the dial down is IMPORTANT... to sit back, relax, chill and take your foot off the gas...
.. but this is where a lot of people go wrong.. the dial never gets turned down... the chill time is neglected... and that’s when BURNOUT happens🔥😵
Surely, the aim is to work efficiently to have MORE free time? And that’s what I’m helping you to do!

PLEASE LEARN FROM MY MISTAKES
This term PLEASE don’t be a d*ck to yourself
Please work EFFICIENTLY, taking REGULAR breaks including some exercise thrown in there (memory, health, productivity etc etc)
Study hard, know your stuff, but DON’t be a d*ck to yourself

Nb. Just because loads of people are and today - it doesn’t mean they’re better than you... they are just having their moment and running with it... you will have yours too.
This app (like all the others) is a highlight reel... so please don’t compare your successes and life to those who are “smashing it” today... tomorrow they might not be, but won’t show that part. Instead, take a moment to ask yourself “are you ok?” happysunday

My mindset
^^ that was the biggest factor holding me back
- thinking everyone was better than me
- thinking I wasn’t good enough
- thinking it wasn’t even worth trying
