My Yoga practice is grounding, calm, mature, honest, creative, fluid and fun those will be the ingredients that I will use to spice your practice too.

I grew up surrounded by active and inspiring role models. My father, an architect, practiced Kung Fu and aquatic sports throughout his life. My mother, a ballet dancer, still practices Yoga and Tai Chi. Their dedication to movement and healthy living deeply influenced me. Coming from a family known for its longevity, my goal since turning 50 has been to live a long, healthy life with all my facult

There is a promise behind the goodbye. A promise that I will repeat myself, that it will be next time, so sadness will not take hold of me.

Being in the moment means having mental space for your loved ones. Today I practiced with Martita, my sister, mum learning from their body's experience and expectations.

I am having the opportunity to practice Yoga with my mum and it's great. She was a dancer and has practiced Tai Chi for the last 20 years. Her balance and strength is admirable for her age.

She trained my siblings and I to keep moving and listen to our bodies. I am so grateful for the time that she spent with me while I was growing learning to understand how to practice a discipline, ballet in my case, could be the key to a more balanced life.

I am converted, knowing that the way to an independent mature age is held by keeping an active body.

My last blog is on, this month, I’m sharing a story about the quiet inner fire that guides our digestion and our decisions, the ways we betray ourselves without noticing, and the unexpected lessons I inherited from my grandmother—lessons I only understood once I lived them myself.

If you’ve ever struggled to honour your needs, especially when you don’t want to disappoint someone you care about, this one might speak to you.

I would love to hear about your experience, please leave them in the comments 🌞

New publication on my BLOG...
My grandmother Maria was diagnosed with colitis at 50 and immediately began following a strict diet. And when I say strict, I mean strict.

As a teenager, I found her routines so annoying. Christmas dinner had to be early for her stomach. She wouldn’t drink wine. She avoided half the dishes on the table. Fourteen-year-old me rolled her eyes and thought, “Ugh, she just wants attention. She’s being difficult on purpose.”

I run once a week and when I feel that something it's trapped in my body and needs realising.

I do use knee protectors and I do not run marathons. I run for health and pleasure. Running helps fast blood circulation and that promotes the body to repair as oxygen travels faster to the organs. Mentally, helps me to disconnect and free myself from what is going in the loop in my head. Fresh air put always things in perspective.

At the end I placed an Assna🧘🏽 Marittiassana that helps me because of the spine twist starting on the lower back up to the neck. I keep it for 6 breaths always lengthening the spine before the twisting 😉

There are many variations but today I will leave you with this one.

From expressive politicians to serene yogis, our gestures say more than words.

When I discovered mudras — the hand positions used in yoga and meditation — I wanted to understand why they matter. I love having a reason behind what I do, and as a yoga teacher, it’s important for me that you have one too. That’s why I wrote my latest blog about mudras.

I’ve mentioned them briefly in my classes, but since not all of you attend the same sessions, sharing this knowledge through a blog made sense to me.

I also know that some of you might not be on a spiritual journey, or maybe your approach to yoga is more physical — and that’s totally fine. Neuroscience actually helps explain why yogis and public speakers who use mudras. So next time you practice one, you’ll understand why you’re doing it.

Neuroscience gave me the answer: your hands talk to your brain.
They can shift your emotions, improve focus, and even calm your nervous system.

In my latest post, I share how I use mudras in my own practice (and in class), and what both yoga and science reveal about their incredible power.
