It's been the most incredible journey with memories that will last a lifetime! A huge thank you to everyone that supported us, especially those who sponsored us! 2 weeks post Ride London and I'll definitely keep up cycling...just not to the 100 mile standard! This time last week I was incredibly nervous not knowing if I would succeed, especially as I'd never cycled 100 miles before! But I managed it and I'm so proud I can say I cycled 100 miles for Havens Hospices Not only did we beat the time we were hoping to complete it in but we also smashed our fundraising target! We did it!!!! 100 miles!!! 6 months ago I had no idea I would be able to do anything like this and today I've cycled across the most spectacular finish!

8 months ago i started working at Little Havens unaware of just how much support the charity gives to children and young people, as well as their families! People often ask me "how can you work in a children's hospice, it must be so sad". The answer....it's not all about death. It's looking beyond that and making every day count! Not only that but we provide respite to families to give them much needed breaks! I was extremely nervous to start working at Little Havens but now I couldn't think of a better job to do! 🥰🥰

On the 31st July last year I completed my first serious bike ride and was extremely proud I managed 10 miles! On the 30th January this year I completed my first bike ride which was over 20 miles. In just over 3 months I've managed to go from 20 miles to 70miles!

In just 6 days I will be attempting to cycle 100 miles! I'm extremely nervous but also very excited for this challenge! All the sponsorship money we get is going straight to Havens Hospices Fundraising

The final training ride is complete! Never did I imagine I would be able to cycle anymore than 5 miles let alone 70 miles! 7 days to go and we are just over half way to our fundraising target. It's been a long, slightly stressful, week and we didn't think we'd be able to get out today but we managed it! Thanks to Dad for rescuing us after a wardrobe malfunction 🙈 This meant we could actually continue with our ride without turning back to go home!
