2020 Hyde Park Relays - Saturday 8th February 2020 Runners of all abilities are welcome, from experienced racers to complete newbies.
The annual Hyde Park Relays - the largest student relays in the UK - sees over 600 competitors take to the paths of Hyde Park in Central London to complete 5km laps in men’s/mixed teams of 6 and women’s teams of 4. Student teams should consist entirely of current students (freshers up to PhDs). However, alumni, athletics clubs, or other establishments are more than welcome to enter guest (non-stud

I was invited along to the famous Hyde Park Relays, hosted by the Imperial College Athletics Team. On a sunny day, runners from almost 80 teams competed in 5km relays to claim their prize!

Deadlines for entries with named chip-times is Thursday at 1800. All entries after this time will not have named legs/splits on the official results.

Well for your piece of mind, this Year's Route is on Strava. Official measurements taken last year as 5.0km, Elevation Gain of 10.5m.
In addition, we have set up a 2020 Route segment, so you can all compete for the CR. Last Year's Course Record Times (same route) sit at 17:27 for women, set by Niamh Bridson Hubbard, and for men 15:09 set by Dan Mulryan. Will these be broken this year?
