We all fall for the same myths… especially when we’re stretched thin, juggling work, motherhood, and a brain that never switches off.
These are the beliefs I see most often in my coaching and in the Accountability Group — and the ones I had to unlearn myself.
✨ “I’ll have more time when…”
✨ “If I push a bit harder, it’ll finally feel easier…”
✨ “I need to feel confident before I take action…”
✨ “Everyone else is coping better than me…”
These thoughts keep you overwhelmed, exhausted, and stuck in survival mode.
What actually creates clarity, confidence, and consistency?
👉 Boundaries. Rest. Small actions. Community. Accountability.
When women stop doing it alone, they stop burning out.
If one of these beliefs hit a nerve, you’re not alone and it might be the exact sign you needed to shift things this week.
👇 Which one do you want to let go of first?
Your comment might be the reminder someone needs today. 💕

Ever notice how your day feels “busy” but not productive? That’s often decision fatigue at play. Our brains are wired to conserve energy, so when we make hundreds of small decisions from morning to evening, we’re quietly draining the part of the brain responsible for clarity, planning, confidence, and follow-through.
This is why by 3pm a question like “What’s for dinner?” can feel like the final straw.
Your brain is not the problem, the load is.
Decision batching helps you protect your best thinking for what actually matters.
It’s not about being more disciplined.
It’s about being strategic with the energy you do have.
If you’re navigating a life transition, returning to work, or simply feel like you’ve lost your mental bandwidth, this is one of the tools we use inside coaching to help you rebuild clarity, confidence, and momentum.
If this resonated, comment “clarity” or DM me CLARITY and I’ll share how we can work together.

Let’s talk about the real reasons people hesitate to invest in coaching.
💭 “It’s not the right time.”
💭 “It’s too expensive.”
💭 “I should be able to figure this out myself.”
💭 “How is talking to someone going to fix anything?”
I hear these all the time, and honestly, I’ve said them myself.
But here’s what I’ve learned after coaching so many women through major life and career transitions…
The “wrong time” rarely becomes the right one.
Waiting for things to calm down usually means staying exactly where you are.
And clarity doesn’t appear out of thin air, it’s built through guided reflection, structure, and accountability.
Coaching isn’t about paying to talk.
It’s about finally getting unstuck, building confidence, and moving forward with purpose, whether that means changing careers, finding balance as a working mum, or redefining what success looks like now.
So if you’ve been hovering on the fence, here’s your gentle nudge:
Maybe it’s not the “perfect” time…
Maybe it’s the exact time.
✨
I help women in transition, from returning to work after maternity to starting a business or rediscovering themselves midlife, find clarity, confidence, and direction.

Here’s the neuroscience behind it 👇
✨ 1. Planning feels rewarding.
When you’re dreaming or planning, your dopamine system lights up, it’s all about anticipation, not achievement. That’s why starting feels exciting.
💭 2. Doing drains energy.
Once you move into action, your executive control network takes over, focus, prioritising, managing distractions and it’s exhausting. Your brain literally burns more glucose and oxygen, so it pushes back.
😬 3. Your brain loves comfort.
Your limbic system wants short-term ease, not long-term reward. Cue procrastination, boredom, and scrolling.
🌀 4. The reward fades.
Even when you follow through, dopamine drops as tasks become familiar so it’s no wonder motivation feels inconsistent.
The truth? It’s not that you’re lazy or unmotivated. Your brain is just wired this way.
That’s where accountability changes everything.
Inside The Focus & Reflect Accountability Group, we meet twice a week to plan, prioritise, and follow through…together. Because consistency isn’t about willpower, it’s about support, structure, and momentum. 💪
