Due to a double-booking at Halley Academy, we have had to change the time slot of our Wednesday evening nets to 8.30-9.30pm (1 hour later). We will also start 2 weeks later on Wed 22nd Feb (for 6 weeks up to 29th March). Apologies for this late change.
To be clear:
- NO NETS this Wednesday (8th) or next (15th)
- Sunday morning nets have already started at Avery Hill (9.30-11am) and are unaffected by this latest change.
See you there!

Everyone at Old Colfeians CC is heartbroken that club stalwart Geoff Rameaux died last Saturday after a short illness.
Geoff’s dedication to club rugby and cricket at the Old Colfeians was legendary. He was a fine cricketer, a mentor and friend to many of us and a lovely human being. Our thoughts and support go out to Claire, Tom, Franki and Des.
His beloved OCRFC will hold a minute’s applause in Geoff’s memory before the start of this Saturday’s home fixtures at Horn Park.
RIP Geoff
A mixed bag on Saturday:
- 1st XI lost by 70 runs to Dartford Cricket Club - 260/4 played 190/6, the reply seeing Jake Wilkins scoring 70 and Satchi Mahendran with 45*.
- The 3rd XI won by 4 wickets with a ball to spare in a superb chase of 194 at Downham and Bellingham CC, Thriyam Ravi taking 3/46 on debut, and lots of contributions with the bat: Richard and Simon Burton scored 42 and 31, while Max Dunmore made a fluent 37.
- The 4s lost by six runs to Wadhurst Cricket Club Coaching in a very entertaining albeit low-scoring game. Wadhurst posted 99 with Gethin Bond snaring 5/34. Despite 20s from Stephen Wallace and Edwin Malins, a tough track and good bowling just denied a win.
