I’ve realised I have a habit.
Whenever I cross a meaningful threshold in my life, I like to mark it somehow.
Sometimes I buy something small.
Sometimes I make something.
Years ago, I remember feeling disappointed that there wasn’t someone special beside me to celebrate those moments with. The big ones. The little ones. The milestones in between.
So I stopped waiting.
I realised I could become the person who marked those moments.
The person who said,
“You made it.”
“Treat yourself”
This bracelet is one of those moments.
Not because it’s expensive or particularly significant on its own, but because every time I look at it, I’ll remember this chapter.
A new job.
A visa finally approved.
A home slowly becoming mine again.
The second bedroom finding its purpose.
Life becoming more settled…
It’s taken a while…
The Cancer New Moon draws our attention towards home, belonging and what helps us feel safe.
Over the past couple of weeks, that hasn’t looked like setting intentions so much as making space.
Clearing cupboards.
Sorting rooms.
Putting things back where they belong.
Maybe that’s a ritual too.

Only a Capricorn would start a new job on a Capricorn Full Moon 🌝
You really couldn’t write it.
Last Thursday morning I pulled the Four of Wands.
A few hours later my visa was approved 🤩
By Monday, under the Full Moon, I was walking into a new chapter.
One that I have been waiting to start for far too long!
Although, in true fashion, I arrived at the office to discover everyone was working from home. 😂
The rest of the week became a collection of little moments: ferry commutes, coffee cups, lift rides, looking out over Sydney, celebrating with friends, finally making it to Totti’s, and quietly realising that life had started moving again.
During the Full Moon I also did a tarot spread, and one message stayed with me all week:
What if you’re still preparing for impact... even though the danger has already passed?
For a long time, staying on high alert made sense. There was uncertainty around work, my visa, finances, and even my sense of identity.
But the cards suggested something different.
Not that everything is suddenly perfect.
Just that perhaps …I’m no longer in the chapter that required me to survive.
To brace.
Another card asked me to stop defining myself by what I still need to achieve, and instead by everything I’ve already become.
That landed.
I get it… I’m listening…
Because I think so many of us carry old versions of ourselves far longer than we need to.
Sometimes the hardest part isn’t getting through the difficult chapter.
It’s believing you’re allowed to live differently once it’s over.
Here’s to new beginnings... and to finally putting the shield down

Season Finale 🎙️
Sometimes we think we’ve buried parts of ourselves forever.
But seeds and endings can look remarkably similar.
🌱 Episode 10 of Fire Moon Rising is out now.
This season has been about rebuilding a life that doesn’t revolve around survival.
About work.
Worth.
Love.
Identity.
And learning that healing isn’t always loud enough to notice while it’s happens.
This final story is about looking back at the ground you’ve been standing on all along...
..and realising something has been growing.

OUT NOW ✨
Some things grow while you’re busy watching.
Others grow the moment you stop checking on them altogether.
This week’s story begins at a ranch that seems to remember the woman before she remembers herself.
A place where old versions of her life still exist - not as reminders of who she was, but as evidence of everything that kept growing while she was looking elsewhere.
A story about trust.
About belonging.
About the difference between forcing and allowing.
And about what happens when you realise that some of the most important things in your life were never asking to be controlled.
S3 Episode 9: The Ranch That Remembered Her is available now wherever you listen to podcasts.
