BACK ON THE BANK AFTER NEARLY 30 YEARS…

There are plenty of established fisheries out there, but how often do you get the chance to fish one that's been stocked but virtually untouched for decades?

The Two Otters Fishing Lake

Originally opened as a commercial fishery in the late 1980s, this peaceful 1.5-acre lake closed in the late '90s and has remained stocked but unfished ever since.

Now, under the care of Lynn and Andy, anglers are being welcomed back to the banks once again.

The lake holds:

🐟 Carp
🐟 Roach
🐟 Rudd
🐟 Bream
🐟 Perch

New purpose-built pegs are being installed as the fishery continues its relaunch, with day tickets available from just £10 and small organised matches also welcomed.

And there's even the option of hot sandwiches, tea, coffee and cold drinks on request... always a winner on the bank! ☕🥪

🎣 DON'T TALK YOURSELF OUT OF A WEEDY LAKE

Arriving at a new lake can be daunting enough.

You don't know the water.
You don't know the swims.
You don't know where the fish feed.

Then you look out and see w**d everywhere…

For some anglers, that's enough to start thinking about the next lake.

But what if we looked at it differently?

Clear water. Plenty of w**d. Carp thriving in a natural habitat.

That w**d isn't necessarily the problem, it's part of what makes the lake what it is.

Yes, you might have to work a little harder.

Spend the time looking. Find the clear spots. Watch the water. Understand how the fish are using the w**d. Set your traps carefully and fish with confidence.

Because when you put the work in, that same w**dy water can produce some seriously special fish.
