What is the most difficult part of the physical yoga practice??? 🤔
1. Changing into your workout attire
2. Stepping onto your mat

Once you’ve made it this far congratulate yourself (this is a big win), take a deep breath and just start to move in whatever way feels good 🦦.
•
Showing up for yourself is hard, even harder if you’re feeling a little meh (The Covid life)😩. This is the practice, just showing up, again and again🧘🏼♀️. The most difficult part. From there on everything starts to feel a little easier, lighter, brighter 😍.
•
Don’t be afraid to be proud of yourself🥇, to create time for yourself⏳, to celebrate yourself👏🏼. We can’t fully show up for others until we show up for ourself.💛

Just a reminder that photographs capture a snapshot in time. 📸 They offer no wider context surrounding the image such as:
- The character of the person in the shot
- Their mental or emotional state
- The amount of retakes it took
- If filters or edits have been applied
- The wider story
•
Remember there is ALWAYS a wider lens behind a still image, a wider story 📖. The viewer creates their judgement based on their own emotional state and the limited information that the image publisher conveys. Be kind to yourself and others.
•
For example... in this image I was trying to avoid landing in sheep droppings 🤢🐑 in pain from the rocks underneath my hands 😬 oh and swipe right for original 🎨.
•

Surya Namaskar or Sun Salutation 🌞

Often taken at the start of practice to heat the body and activate Prana (life force/primary energy/breath) 🔥💫 but practiced by many 108 times on a solstice or equinox to honour, celebrate and surrender to the change of season 🌾🌸🍃🍁

The Autumnal equinox offers a time to slow down, look within and ground yourself in preparation for winter. 🍂🦥 (I realise it was yesterday)

I took some time, did some sun sals and drew this to please your scrolling eyes 👀
