Over the last week or so, we’ve seen a huge uplift in our Facebook views and followers, and we’re absolutely delighted to have you join our page.

Thanks to each of our new followers, all 362 of you. We’ll do our very best to keep you entertained and informed about our club and the things we like to do.

Today we visited Hertfordshire Police Headquarters in our capacity as members of the B*H Independent Advisory Group on Fi****ms & Explosives Licensing.

A useful meeting with some great progress in performance but still some more to do on new grants.

We’ll share details once the info-pack from the meeting is received.

Today we welcomed Michelle and Ben to the club to try their hand at archery, and by the looks of it, they were pretty good.

Michelle told us “We had a really great time, thank you. Dave was great! We really enjoyed it. Thanks very much for sorting it for us 😊”.

Published today (28 August) - HMICFRS recommendations following their series of audits/inspections around the country last and this year.

A very interesting read for those holders of FAC and SGC.

The fi****ms licensing system in England and Wales is not fit for purpose and a new national fi****ms licensing authority should be created to better protect public safety.
