Sometime ago, I was quite poorly.
One of those things that drag on and on ...which is now a normal about living in London.
Growing up in a very cosmopolitan social setting in Bombay and yet a very patriarchal society in India, it was unheard of that a married woman and a mother should be sick and resting in bed.
I remember my husband's mother saying to me, "๐บ๐ฐ๐ถ ๐ด๐ฉ๐ฐ๐ถ๐ญ๐ฅ ๐จ๐ฆ๐ต ๐ธ๐ฆ๐ญ๐ญ ๐ด๐ฐ๐ฐ๐ฏ. ๐๐ฉ๐ฆ๐ฏ ๐ข ๐ธ๐ฐ๐ฎ๐ข๐ฏ ๐ช๐ด ๐ฅ๐ฐ๐ธ๐ฏ, ๐ต๐ฉ๐ฆ ๐ฆ๐ฏ๐ต๐ช๐ณ๐ฆ ๐ฉ๐ฐ๐ถ๐ด๐ฆ๐ฉ๐ฐ๐ญ๐ฅ ๐ด๐ถ๐ง๐ง๐ฆ๐ณ๐ด".
And that made me think...if that is the case, then the opposite should also be true, no?
When a woman THRIVES, everyone in her world thrives.
So here's to all you amazing women....BE THAT WOMAN that ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐

Have you ever noticed that the happiest people can sometimes be a little too much to handle? ๐คทโโ๏ธ
Well, here's a thought: Maybe it's not them; maybe it's us! ๐ค
This is something I've been coaching one of my recent clients on - ๐ Embracing Joy ๐
As much as she WANTS to be part of someone's joy and happiness, she finds it annoying and 'irritating'.
She struggles to be around people who are happy and joyful.
The way she described it, I was reminded of 'Naina' in KHNH - all you K-Jo and SRK fans know which movie I'm referring to.
Truth is, the only time you find joyful people annoying is when you are unhappy in yourself. ๐กโจ
So, instead of resenting their positivity, it's essential to notice these feelings and patterns in yourself and use it as a reminder to work on your own joyfulness. ๐๐ช
I was able to get her to create her own unique ways to be joyful rather than resentful.

After all, happiness is contagious, and there's a clear need to create Joy as your baseline emotion ๐๐

To make Progress- the 4th โPโ, you have to change your attitude towards the 3 Ps
Problems are part of life but we donโt have to feel powerless in our ability to solve them.

I've been busy with
- moving house (was exhausting and I need an MOT for myself now!)
- getting used to my new surroundings!....
- working from my new office space that over looks my garden
- coaching some amazing women
