I donβt know why, but I was initially against getting a professional bike fit as I just thought I could figure it out by myself π
However, as I increased my distance on the bike and started to spend more time in the saddle, I started to pick up little niggles in my right quad. Then eventually my quad tendon started to become inflamed which meant I had to take a week off training π
So I reached out to at .uk and he booked me in for a professional bike fit. It turns out my position was completely off and I needed quite a few adjustments here and there π΄
The end result, my quad pain has gone, my knees are tracking better throughout the pedal stroke and Iβm able to comfortably spend more time in the drop bars. On the turbo, I feel I can put down more power and overall, I feel stronger on the bike π
Patβs based in Clapham North, so if you live in South West London, give him a shout, it's 100% worth it! π

Yesterday I treated myself to a 48km steady ride around a very windy Richmond Park π¨ π΄
My goal at the moment is to cover 180km per week with a mix of zone 1/2 rides and tempo rides. I have a few big events coming up this year so my priority at the moment is volume and getting comfortable on the bike π
Weather depending, but Iβm hoping to get back out on the bike on Thursday π
I hope you all have a good week of training!
