Understanding Martyn's Law Webinar

Martyn’s Law (the Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Act 2025) is now on the statue books and sports clubs throughout the country are trying to work out what the impact of this new legislation will be. It is important that clubs understand how to manage the new responsibilities the Act creates, balanced against an already heavy burden on club volunteers.

Following the success of our January Club Engagement events, we are pleased to announce the next series of sessions, designed to provide targeted, practical support for rugby clubs.

✅ Business operations: advice on how to generate revenue and reduce costs.
✅ Volunteers: how to identify, recruit and support volunteers.
✅ Coaching and Match Official workforce: understanding our current training offer, supporting clubs to develop their own workforce and updates planned for the 26/27 season.
✅ Player recruitment: ideas for how to attract and retain players including support for girls using our Love Rugby campaign.
✅ Education links: building sustainable links with schools, colleges, and universities. Guidance on key priorities and work programmes across Player Pipeline Team.
✅ Competitions Development: to understand additional playing opportunities, how to access the most appropriate on-pitch offer for your Men's, Women's and Age Grade players.
✅ Facilities and pitches: expert advice and guidance on club facility development plans and aspirations.
