Busy in the office today? Forgot to back your lunch, don't sweat it!!
I got you covered ๐
Instead of skipping out on lunch completly, which will increase hunger levels later (which is a major contribution to overeating late on at night) grab a wrap from the old faithful Tesco
Now they aren't massively cheap but they will be enough to curb that hunger and prevent you from overeating later on
They actually pack a punch when it comes to protein (Chicken and Bacon is 23.4g)
..skip the meal deal though and just get the wrap and some fruit instead ๐ช
MOST OF ALL... don't forget to prep your lunch for tomorrow!

Okay, so hear me out on this one
Yes, movies are a great way to relax and take your mind off of thingsโฆ๐ฟ
โฆBut they can also be mega inspiring and big motivators that can inspire action! ๐ช๐ผ
Take the movie Rocky, specifically Rocky 4 for example ๐ฅ
Whenever I watch it, especially the โTraining Montageโ scene I just want to run up some snowy mountains ๐ (or maybe just hit the gym)

Your friend Karen swears by Keto (this could also be any other kind of diet)
She swears by it because every time she goes back onto it, she always loses weight
Without fail, which she loves
The thing is, sheโs gone back onto Keto A LOT
It should make you think though and ask her the question
โIf your diet works so well and is so good, why do you have to keep going โbackโ to itโ?
โIf it was working so well, why did you ever leaveโ?
HEREโS THE KICKER
ANY diet will work if you are in a Calorie Deficit
ANY OF THEM AND ALL OF THEM WORK
What you should be mindful of is how sustainable this diet is for you
โBut how do I know if a diet is sustainable or notโ? you may ask
Ask yourself these questions:
Can I see myself eating like this for the rest of my life?
If the answer is yes, then this is great, you have found a sustainable diet that suits you
If the answer is no, then its not for you and you wonโt be able to sustain this type of diet without โfalling off the wagonโ
You may achieve short term results with an unsustainable approach, but you will always keep stopping and starting, which itself is highly unsustainable
The idea is to find a way of eating that works for you over a long period, basically the rest of your life
Follow this approach and you wonโt NEED to go on a โdietโ
You can eat the foods you love all whilst working towards your goals

Itโs been a strange 3 weeks since the doctors told me that I have ME/CFS, itโs been a period of trial and error to see how I react to certain thingsโฃ

Iโd like to just say thank you to SOOO many people who have reached out to me to discuss the way they cope with living with this horrible illness, it means so much and your advice has been priceless.โฃ

Iโm 100% ANTI DIET and donโt believe you should cut any foods out of your daily nutrition (unless you have a medical condition or an intolerance)โฃ
โฃ
So itโs been a big shock to me that Iโve had to cut certain foods out of my diet (temporarily) to see how my body reacts.โฃ
โฃ
I cut out the sweetner, dairy, gluten and wheat to start with and though the symptoms and feelings of aches and tiredness didnโt go away I felt slightly better in myself and my gut problems eased.โฃ
โฃ
I put them all back into my diet and felt terrible again, so itโs a case of testing the water to see how each one effects me.โฃ
โฃ
Training wise itโs very up and down, Iโve been advised not to train like I used to as it makes the condition worse, but I can only train ๐ฏ% effort or nothing, thatโs just me.โฃ
โฃ
Iโm finding 2 days on with a rest is usually ok for me to recover enough, though Iโm wiped on that rest day. โฃ
โฃ
Changing my training up and basically going completely REBUILD myself form the core outwards, focusing a lot on methods as he is someone I hugely aspire to.โฃ

I basically need to try make myself harder to kill ๐โฃ

I had my 3D body scan done with a few weeks back to gauge my start point and Iโll be (reluctantly) posting the results later ๐ญ not happy with how Iโve let my body basically go โmehโโฃ

Iโve never been nervous about posting something on social media, but this is one post I have been nervous about putting up and speaking about.โฃ

Iโve not been well for almost a year now, something that I havenโt really spoken to anyone about and have only just really opened up to my wife about it.โฃ

I am one of these guys that just mans up and gets on with things regardless, guess thats still the military in me, but it got to the point where I had to seek some help to find a way forward.โฃ

I have recently been diagnosed with Myalgic Encephalomyelitis M.E usually known as Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) though I used diagnosed lightly as the doctors donโt really seem to have a clue as the illness is still not really understood.โฃ

The past year at times has been a huge struggle and Iโve probably got myself to blame for not being open and honest about it, Iโve kept my feelings bottled up.โฃ

This weekend I had a massive โcrashโ of fatigue and my feelings came out to my wife, who didnโt realise I was suffering so much.โฃ
โฃ
Having talked about it with her over the weekend I thought it best to start posting about it all and to reach out to anyone else who may be suffering and connect with you to learn more about an illness I donโt really understand.โฃ

Doctors donโt seem to have a way forward for me and have simply advised me to โget fitterโ ๐คท๐ฝโโ๏ธ โฃ

So we have spent this weekend resting up and researching the illness and trying to figure a way to recover from it as quickly as possible.โฃ

Fiona and myself are already going through a major life shift as we have been trying for a baby unsuccessfully for over a year now, so we are both trying to lead a much healthier life in order to help us get pregnant, we ainโt spring chickens no more so we need to increase our chances by making as many changes in out lives as possible.โฃ

Iโm not one to sit back and let an illness consume me so Iโll be hitting the gym harder then ever in a bit to beat this and Iโm not the kind of guy that would believe something like this could effect you so much, it really does feel like an invisible illness.โฃ
