Good Monday morning everyone!
We hope you had a great Halloween weekend.
It's the first of November...which means we only have TWO MONTHS remaining in 2021.
Shorter and colder days await, Autumn has set in, the leaves have fallen as you can see on this walk to our gym.

Hello everyone!
It is such amazing news to hear that The Gym Group will be working alongside the Rio Ferdinand Foundation to help young people in disadvantaged areas.
On a more local level, we will be partnering with WeAreWaterloo to be more of an active part within our local community.
You will have seen us out and about, but there are lots more events coming, so watch this space!

Last week we showed you how PT Amin uses the Hyper Extension to train his back.
Fast forward a week, and Manager Vic is also using the Hyper Extension...but to train his Legs, more specifically, Hamstrings and Glutes.
Other than the range of motion, there are subtle differences in the way they move.
Amin is using his upper body to straighten himself, whereas Victor is using his lower body.
This is called Mind Muscle Connection, where we concentrate on the muscle we are trying to exercise to complete a movement.
If you are trying to focus on growing a certain muscle part, feel free to contact a trainer who can help you on that journey.
