Just one week left of the Rise Climbing CrowdFunder… finishing on Wednesday the 18th! We have a super exciting collab with who has designed a poster and tee for the expansion. We will be celebrating from 6pm to 11pm.

We will set themed climbs specifically for the evening, so there will be a new set to check out.
Pot luck will be 730-9pm, when we will do red envelopes and the raffle draw. 🫣
Then keep climbing or cocktail and play something before we get the karaoke started! 🎤🕺💃
You can play, or learn how to play mahjong all evening - we will have several tables set up around the gym! Even if you’ve never played before, the wonderful will be teaching newcomers! 🀄️
AND Fred will be back doing more calligraphy this year.
We even have a couple of makers selling their wares on the evening!

Build Phase 3 - part 1 - the mezzanine

Rise turns into a full-on construction account 🦾🦾This phase involved building 2 gantry cranes to lift the clt panels into place 🏗️ we could then pretty quickly position the clt, and the bring the final shape of the unit into focus 🫣

As always, thanks to the massive crew of helpers (Lewis, Andrei, Basia, Matt, Adam, Anna, and many others) and we have to recognise the mammoth efforts of Chi and Conor. 🙏🙏

Lunar New Year 2026 🎉

Can’t believe it! It’s nearly a year since we did our first potluck 😱 that was a seriously special evening, and our first time experimenting with a new format. We loved it last year, and we hope folks are keen to come down for LNY ‘26 at Rise!

The plan: themed climbs, POTLUCK (obvs), red packets, cocktails, mahjong?, we magic a horse out of somewhere 🤷‍♂️ who knows.
