England need 5 wins out of the final 6 matches starting tonight, to defeat New Zealand and retain the MacRobertson Shield in 2014 (the 4-yearly pinnacle international tournament of association croquet). Tall order? Perhaps, but we can do it! Go England!!!! http://www.croquetscores.com/2013/ac/macrobertson-shield/new-zealand-vs-england http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MacRobertson_International_Croquet_Shield

Looks like you all had a great time on Sunday - shame I couldn't be there. Is there going to be another event this year? David.

We had a great day out yesterday, with over 45 people at our 'Croquet is Oquet' Sunday afternoon open day. What with watching Andy Murray, eating delicious food and dodging the rain.... there was just about enough time left to play a few rounds of golf croquet!

Thanks to all who came to the BBQ Captain's Tea and made it a great day. Chef Brent was superb, assisted by Marco with the cooking. Congratulations to Nick Parish for winning the Championship (again!) and Christian Carter for making it a great game.
