I can't believe it's been five years!
Though reflecting on this milestone, a lot has happened. I started teaching online in the pandemic. I then ventured into various studios to see people in 3D form (remember when that was a big thing?!)
I started and still do go into people's homes to teach, and with that I'm honoured to meet their families and hear snippets of their life stories. I've met some amazing people and am lucky enough to call some of them friends.
And you know how life goes, there's been ups and downs. And through it all, Pilates has been a constant. A constant release. A constant that has helped keep my hypermobile back in check. A constant reminder to get out of my head and move.
And I love teaching, I really do. Seeing when people 'get' a move. The difference between the first and last spine roll of a class. And I have to admit, I love the surprised look on people's faces when a simple move works E.V.E.R.Y.T.H.I.N.G. (if you know, then you know)
So here's to five more years. And beyond. As Pilates is something that will always be part of my life.
