Darker days are now upon us and sometimes it can get difficult to motivate yourself to either get to the gym (or even get out of bed). 🥱🛌

The last slide is a reminder of how you feel once you’ve worked out, sweated, out of breath. It’s important to keep on top of your workout regimen and this what we are here for. We are here to keep you on track and make these darker days a little bit easier. 🌤

We hear the terminology bulking a lot, especially as it grows nearer to Autumn and Winter. Yes, ideally it's about being in a calorific surplus, therefore eating more than your maintenance calories, but also trying to have a healthy and balanced diet. By working out hard and lifting substantial weight, you will find that your muscle mass does increase.

Sometimes you need to take a step back from the heavy weights and focus on your core and balance. You'll find by stripping back to basics, that when you finally increase your weights having improved your form and mind to muscle connection, your workouts will prove to be more effective.

In order to gain muscle mass, it is imperative to eat more calories. Yes, muscles need protein but they also need energy in order to grow.

Just a 250 to 300 surplus is enough to gain steady muscle mass. Recovery and sleep is also vital when building muscle too.
