A 60 minute session incorporating breathwork, mindful movement and meditation. This class caters for minor health conditions and issues. It is a 8 -10 week programme which will appl therapeutic and healing antidotes to the mind and body. A great way to start your Sunday morning.
There is a maximum of 9 spaces. This is to ensure you receive adjustments/modifications to maintain good form as well as experience the physical and mental benefits of the practice.

Mindful Sunday - Yoga for healthy jointsπ§π½ββοΈ
This is a little excerpt from my Mindful Sunday class. I am currently teaching the Pawanmuktasana (Wind release) series π¨
This is a traditional practice broken down into 3 parts to release gases and blockages in the joints to increase the flow of prana energy in the body. Prana is essentially your lifeforce.
It also helps to ease stiffness and improve range of movement in the joints.
This little excerpt from Pawanmuktasana series 1 is great for office workers, drivers, sports people, or anyone else to:

βοΈ ease text-neck pain (constantly looking down at smart devices)
βοΈ help manage arthritis

Modified Sun Salutation - Modified Surya Namaskara βοΈπ
One of the staples in Hatha yoga classes to mobilise and warm up the body. Twelve poses (asanas) linked together in a sequence to be practiced at the crack of dawn, at sunrise.
This is a gentler variation of Sun Salutations with many benefits
βοΈ Stretches the hips and quadricep muscles
βοΈ Stimulates the spinal nerves with a gentle backbend
βοΈ Mobilises all the major joints
βοΈ Massages the internal organs
βοΈ Gentler variation for shoulder and wrist issues (downward dog and plank are not included)
This is also a preparation for the full version and great for beginners to yoga. You can practice 1-3 rounds to loosen up the body.
This is a special post as some of my students wont be able to practice with me this week due to the train/tube strikes.
Maybe they can practice worshipping the sun in my absence π
