๐ธ Photo dump of Juneโs adventures ๐ธ
If I had to sum up June in one sentence... too hot to hike! ๐ฅตโ๏ธ
But that wasnโt going to stop me. We just had to be a little more strategic, chasing shady woodland trails ๐ณ and breezy hilltops ๐ฌ๏ธ to escape the worst of the heat.
Hereโs a little recap of where June took me:

๐ Photos 5โ9: Didcot to Culham, Oxfordshire

Random snapshots from Sundayโs walk ๐ฅพ๐ฟ
After spending most of Saturday hiding indoors with the fan on full blast ๐ฅต, it was so nice to finally get out and enjoy some much more comfortable hiking weather. โ๏ธ
Does anyone know what flower this is in picture 3? ๐ธ
And you, how was your weekend? Did you make the most of the heat, or did you stay indoors waiting for cooler temperatures? ๐

Lavender season is here... and you donโt need a car to enjoy it. ๐ชป๐ฅพ๐
Here are four of my favourite options:
๐ Shoreham to Eynsford โ Follow footpaths through the Darent Valley before reaching Castle Farm, home to one of the UKโs largest lavender fields.
๐ Alton Circular โ A scenic walk through Hampshireโs countryside and woodland, with Hartley Lavender Farm as the highlight of the route.
๐ Hitchin Lavender Farm โ Simply walk from Hitchin station to the lavender farm. Itโs an easy option if you want to spend your day exploring the fields without committing to a longer hike.
๐ Ewell to Kenley โ A walk across parks and open countryside, passing through the famous Mayfield Lavender Farm before finishing at Kenley station.
