After a short break during June, we will be back next week on Monday 1st July 🙌🏻

This will be a 5 week term every Monday until July 29th. This will have a focus on preparing all the players for their return to the up-coming 2024/25 season ⚽️

Don’t worry we will be using the balls. The sessions will have a high tempo, using the ball and area size to condition the players. Making sure they hit the ground running in August 🔥

2023/24 Season

It has been another brilliant season with Welling United as Academy Manager, I think the best one to date. Three and half years of hard work has started to pay off.

Our Scholars & staff have been brilliant this year, I couldn’t think of a better team to work with. I’m looking forward to working with them all again this season as we push forward again.

My two personal favourite achievements for this season would have to be my U16 National JPL Trophy. Along with helping get these two boys out the door & into professional contracts

It’s been a pleasure working with David & Ollie and I wish them all the best on their next chapter.

Everyone wants to be a footballer and play in the premier league. However just because you might not play at that level doesn’t mean you can’t have a career in the game.

Three very IMPORTANT tips to keep stored in your mental armoury, if you want a career playing football.

◾️Not everyone will like you as a player. That’s okay, football is a game of opinions. One persons opinion will not define your ability to have a career. You need to have thick skin.

◾️You will see it all over Instagram reels, but it is TRUE. You must be the hardest working person in the room and be willing to make sacrifices in other areas of your life.

◾️You need to have dreams & goals, but you must also be realistic with them. It’s not going to happen in two weeks, in might not happen in a year. The success you see on social media is years & years in the making. You have to be realistic & trust there is a process.

Elite Fridays with TMCElite ⚽️

I’m very happy to announce the first group session with TMCElite. Elite Fridays will be an opportunity for the best u15-u16 players to come together and train. The players will have a collective goal of heightening their footballing ability 👊🏻

Long Time….I Know

Just over a year back in the U.K. living in London. What a year it’s been.

I have been very quiet on social media over the last 5 months, after taking on a new role as Scholarship Academy Manager for Welling United FC.
-
The last 5 months have been tough but I have enjoyed every bit of it. Being able to take the next step in my career as a coach. I will get back to being more active on here again.
