AMAZING results from the Winter Champs. For the first time, the club wins top points for both the Open and Youth category - combined, over 300 points clear from any other team.
Our medal haul was OUTSTANDING, with 18 club records also broken.

European Youth Olympic Festival!

Henry returns from the European Youth Olympic Festival with a GOLD medal for his role in the 4x100 IM relay.

It’s been a great week for Henry, where he made the semi finals in his individuals. Above all it must have been a fantastic learning experience on the International stage.

Magic end to a huge week!

Swimmers yesterday signed off British Nationals in style with personal bests and podium places! Pietro raced a pb to collect a SILVER in the 200 bk and Nick raced for BRONZE in the 50 fly.

The final send off in style was awarded to our CW swimmers in the announcement that we WON the BRITISH SUMMER CHAMPIONSHIPS MOST IMPROVED CLUB. This is awarded to one club annually and is based on on progression - unbelievable and amazing credit to our swimmers. The trophy is also attached to an award for the club which will be revealed in due course.

Tomorrow National Performance swimmer Bryan Leong swims in his first event at the Commonwealth Games Birmingham. Bryan is representing Malaysia and here he is with our Director of Swimming Lisa, who is currently away representing Team England for the CWG. Let’s go 🇲🇾 and 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿!!

Golden Dreammates!

The only colour for CW last night at British Nationals was GOLD!! Huge well done to Edward for WINNING his 200 IM final and to Nick for WINNING HIS 50 fc final. Both lads are on 🔥🔥🔥 this week.

CW is on fire this week! 🔥

Everyone yesterday stepped up from heats to finals with best times. A huge night where Edward won silver in the 100 fly, silver in the 200 brst. Nick won gold in the 100 fly and the youth boys IM relay won silver - the first relay medal ever for CW!

Congratulations to Edward Whittles who won a silver medal in the 16 yrs 100m Backstroke at the British National Championships last night. A huge personal best and breaking the 1 minute barrier for the first time! Well done!

Our CW swimmers start their Nationals campaign in Sheffield later. An awesome year of selections for the club, hitting its highest amount of qualifiers in 24!
