☀️ Solar eclipse eye safety: protect your sight! 🌑

With the solar eclipse taking place tomorrow, remember: never look directly at the sun, even during an eclipse. Ordinary sunglasses do not provide enough protection and can cause serious, permanent damage to your eyes.

👓 If you’re watching the eclipse, use CE-marked eclipse glasses or viewers that meet the appropriate safety standard, and follow the manufacturer’s instructions carefully.

🚫 Don’t use cameras, binoculars or telescopes to look at the sun unless they have a proper solar filter fitted.

👁️ Your eyesight is precious. Take a few simple precautions and enjoy the eclipse safely.

We’re excited to launch our Movement Manifesto.

We know how much movement matters. It matters in promoting and supporting physical activity for those living with and beyond cancer. It also matters to us as individuals and as a team. We have created our Movement Manifesto to help inspire our team and to help support active workplaces for people impacted by cancer.

We’re delighted to see the updated UK Chief Medical Officers' physical activity guidelines which find even small amounts of physical activity benefit health. We also have a new Prime Minister who deeply believes in the power of movement. At MOVE Against Cancer we are passionate about the power of movement and we want to enable active lives while we’re at work.

Please click here http://moveagainstcancer.org/movement-manifesto/ to find out more about our Movement Manifesto.

We'd love to hear your feedback and any ideas you have on how we can make this even better for our MOVE team and wider community. We really hope to inspire other workplaces to join us in everyday movement. At MOVE we believe we all have a role to play in supporting people impacted by cancer to live active lives.
