Formosa islanders gained another win!

G1 Although Sam Lin delivered a 6 IP, 7K, 6 ER performance, we were very closely lost the game by 3 runs. Unlucky result but we keep our heads up for G2!

G2 Tom Wei & Payton Liao delivered a fantastic pitching performance jointly with 7 IP, only 2 runs allowed, with Joey Li 3 for 3, Sam Lin 4 for 3 performance leads Islanders to a close win! What a quality game!

Both games were very qualitied and close, well done Islanders! Marching on!

上週賽事回顧：

島民隊取得2024首勝及首次雙勝週末！
G1 在Sam Lin的六局4K，僅失三分的優質先發帶領下，全隊多點開花，尤其Eric Ferng個人三之二，包辦3分打點，最後以8-3取得首勝。

第二場先發Eric Lin前三局遭遇亂流，島民隊在第三局最多落後到九分的情況下，後援Payton Liao及時止血，繳出三局5K一責失的強力救援，全隊在六局下班將士用命加上賽前與勝利女神的小約定（還有最重要的是對方投手自爆）的情況下，狂得6分一舉反超Mustangs取得逆轉勝！再見安打由Sebastian擊出。

本週島民即將再度出戰，希望能夠延續佳績，越戰越勇！

Game recap from last weekend, Formosa islanders gained the first double win in 2024!

G1 with Sam Lin's another quality pitching performance, 6 IP, only allowed 3 ER, leads islander toward the first victory. Eric Ferng was also a big contributor with a 2 for 3, 3 RBI performance.

G2 Islanders performed a dramatic turnaround in the bottom sixth innings, a 6 runs inning allows islanders to turn the situation around from a 0-9 trailing in third inning ends up with a 11-10 win! What a performance. Islanders marching on!

經過上週因雨延賽後，本月第一場賽事將於明天回歸啦！希望島民明天能夠勝利開張！下面是明天先發名單

After the disappointing rained out las weekend, we are heading to May schedule tomorrow! First game in May and we are still looking for the first win of the season, Come on Islanders! Starting line up for tomorrow’s game against London Mustangs⚾️

上週賽事回顧，島民分別以1:14，0:4 落敗給London Meteors。但過程絕對值得嘉獎，首場比賽先發Payton Liao的先發可圈可點，無奈今年首次佈置主場經驗不足，把全壘打牆設的太前導致對方高飛球變全壘打。奮戰五局後打擊未能發揮後落敗。

第二場先發Sam Lin更是發揮陣中Ace的角色，主投七局，送出8K，只被對方2A爭冠陣容擊出2支安打，美中不足是有7個保送，整體投球內容是相當得好。只可惜在三局的打擊跑壘中太過拼命體力流失，導致第四局的小崩盤掉了四分，也是全場唯一失分局。總體來說島民打擊上沒能突破對方投手是最關鍵的一環，不過是一場相當有水準的對決，這週島民將再接再厲挑戰去年分組冠軍Richmond Dragons！
