Here are my fat loss food swaps!! None of these foods are ‘bad’ but some foods are more filling for less calories 🫶🏼

This might be the only way I keep my sanity during solo distance swims 😅 if you find you get bored on your swims or always procrastinate getting to the pool I’d recommend these!

HoloSport | HoloSwim have also given me a code for you guys to get 10% off your smart goggles: ABS

I love swimming… but I love messing around in the pool / ocean even more

Ultimately you’re not going to choose your whole race based off the swim portion but if you’re deciding between Ironman races then this can be something to consider!!

Run Melbourne half mazza recap 🏃🏼‍♀️

They say women are the weaker s*x but I beg to differ after starting my 15 day late period literally as I was about to start the race with no time or supplies to do anything about it other than just get on with the race and deal with it after 🤷🏼‍♀️ RIP to my shorts 💀

I’d already made peace over the last 2 weeks with the fact that my time was going to be a fair bit slower than what I’d wanted for this race because of the health situ and how that’s been affecting training (lack of🤣) and I actually finished today feeling proud of myself for once despite this!

I snoozed my alarm too many times and we lost my bib this morning so that plus the toilet queues meant I started halfway through a wave that was too slow. Lots of getting stuck and weaving around people for the first half trying to get through but as annoying as it was, maybe it was actually a good thing that a slower pace was forced on me because I don’t think I fully realised that the course was set out to find EVERY SINGLE HILL IN MELBOURNE 🤣🤣

Overall I enjoyed this race (which was super important to me) and as I was running I kept reminding myself of how lucky I am to be able to race it. When I booked it in January I was bedbound for a big chunk of a 2 month period and just wanted to be well enough to get to it so mission achieved 👌🏼

Knees are feeling a bit wrecked now but to be expected with the hills, spent the rest of the day with my hot water bottle and period pains from hell, but also with a smile on my face and a fire reignited to get healthy enough to return to triathlon and get back feeling fit 💪🏼 got some important tests and scans this week so hopefully another step towards a light at the end of the tunnel and a healthy body at some point in the future!

Big up to Sin Celic | Triathlon & Running Coach and HANNAH MOORE for being the best support, sorting out my lack of bib situation and always making me remember that the good days are always worth plodding through the bad days for ❤️ love you both
