🏉 SILVERBACKS MONDAY UPDATE 🏉

We just wanted to give everyone a little update from Sussex Silverbacks.

We are taking a short break from training while we prepare for our winter training programme. We will be back on Saturday 7th November, with training moving to Saturdays throughout the winter. 🏉❄️

⏰ Training time will be confirmed very soon, so please keep an eye on the page and our WhatsApp group for the details.

We’re really sorry if the change causes any inconvenience, but this break will give us time to get everything ready for the winter months and, most importantly, prepare the kids for the next exciting stage of the club — playing against other teams! 💪🔥

📸 We’ve also included some pictures from our last Wednesday session for you all to have a look through.

And finally, we want to say a MASSIVE THANK YOU to every single parent, child, volunteer, coach and supporter who has helped us grow Sussex Silverbacks.

We honestly can’t believe how many amazing kids have come and joined us. ❤️💙

What started as an idea is growing into something really special, and that is all because of YOU.

Now we head into our winter training period, where we’ll continue building skills, confidence, teamwork and the Silverbacks family — getting the kids ready to take that next step and represent the club against other teams. 🦍🏉

Thank you all so much for your continued support. We appreciate every single one of you! ❤️💙

🦍 MONDAY’S SILVERBACKS UPDATE! 🦍

What a fantastic journey we’re on at Sussex Silverbacks! 💙

We’re absolutely delighted to announce that we now have 53 children registered with the club! 🎉

Every week, we’re seeing more smiling faces, children making new friends, building confidence and, most importantly, having fun while learning the game of rugby league.

It’s brilliant to see the parents enjoying watching their children develop, learn new skills and embrace the core values of rugby league — Teamwork, Respect, Discipline, Excellence and Inclusivity. 🏉

We’ve also been busy behind the scenes improving our training equipment. A massive thank you to Jody Freeman for helping us get more rugby balls, alongside the club purchasing additional equipment. We now have plenty of balls and a great selection of agility poles to help us develop and progress our training sessions even further! 💪

📸 Here are a few pictures from our recent training sessions, showing just how much fun the kids are having!

We’d love to see even more new faces down at training this Wednesday. Whether your child has played rugby before or is completely new to the game, everyone is welcome!

A huge thank you to every parent, volunteer, supporter and everyone who has helped us grow Sussex Silverbacks. Your support means more than you know, and we genuinely appreciate every bit of it.

53 registered and growing! This is only the beginning! 🦍💙

🏉🦍 SUSSEX SILVERBACKS — MONDAY UPDATE! 🦍🏉

What an amazing way to start the week! 💙

We’re absolutely buzzing to announce that we now have 50 CHILDREN REGISTERED with the Sussex Silverbacks! 🎉🙌

Watching this club grow week after week is incredible. Most importantly, we’re seeing the kids having loads of fun, making new friends and learning the great game of rugby league along the way. 🏉❤️

We’d also like to give a massive WELCOME & THANK YOU to our newest volunteer coach, Luke, who has now joined the Silverbacks family and is helping us continue to give the kids the best sessions possible. 👏🦍

🌙 TRAINING TIME CHANGE

As we start to lose the light with the end of summer approaching, our older group will now move from:

⏰ 7pm–8pm ➡️ 6pm–7pm

This will allow us to make the most of the daylight and keep the sessions running safely.

We honestly can’t thank all the children, parents, volunteers and everyone supporting the Silverbacks enough. 50 registered players is a massive milestone, and we’re only just getting started! 💙🦍

UP THE SILVERBACKS! 🦍💙
