There’s a lot of simple mistakes that I see in the gym daily that seem insignificant but over time will add to the reason you’re not losing fat or increasing strength
Try and avoid these mistakes if you’re just starting out or you’ve been at it for some time

A follow on from yesterdays post when is the right time to change exercises, regardless of the goal you should persist with an exercise long enough to make progress at it but for a few reasons there’ll be a time where a change will help progression and help with progress
Most people judge their workout based of soreness so if they wake in so much pain they walk funny it was a productive session. That muscle soreness can come due to many different reasons
Switching of a program
Including a different exercise
Working at a different rep range
Actually putting more effort
It’s not the best way to determine if progress was made it’s sounds boring but progress shows in lifting more over time, improving your technique over time or being able to do more reps

Whether we like it or not there’s a few fundamentals that has to be at the forefoot of any fitness goal.
They seem on paper quite basic and straight forward but not implementing them with your fitness journey could be the exact reason you’re struggling to build strength and lose weight
