Days like these 📸

Ever feel like you spend the whole day holding it together…then bring the worst version of yourself home?

Today I spoke about masking. What it is, how it feels, and how exhausting it can become constantly trying to keep everything together externally.

The hard part is… the people closest to you often end up getting the burnt out, overstimulated version instead.

That’s why communication is so important.

Being able to talk openly with your partner, explain how you’re feeling, and have someone who genuinely understands you makes a massive difference.

And honestly, I’m very lucky to have that now.

If any of this resonates with you, let me know, and follow along I’m going to keep opening up more about what I’m learning.

Highlights from a recent padwork session with Natalia 🥊

Stripping it back to the fundamentals - building clean technique, understanding defensive reactions, and layering in smart counters.

Working exits, creating angles, and then bringing it all together to find rhythm and flow under pressure.

This is where boxing starts to feel effortless.

Padwork sessions available all levels welcome.
Drop me a message to get started.

Downtime 📸

Ever taken something personally… and realised after it probably wasn’t about you?

That’s something I’ve been learning about recently rejection sensitivity.

Small things can feel like a direct hit…
a message, a tone, a slight change and your whole mood shifts.

I’m working on slowing it down,
not reacting straight away,
and actually asking if it’s even about me.

Still figuring it out… but it explains a lot.

If you relate to this, follow along I’ll keep sharing what I’m learning.

Did you notice this change Fury made? 👀

We were just breaking this down in a 1-1 today…

Early rounds - he’s pulling out after his straight shots
And getting caught with wide counter hooks on the exit.

Second half - adjustment.

Instead of pulling out high,
he stays in… smothers the space…
and completely nullifies the counter.

Now he’s in control of the exchange.

This is what I’m always saying in sessions -
it’s not just what you throw, it’s what you do AFTER.

Loved breaking this down in today’s 1-1 session with .stockton 🥊

And how did you rate the performance?
Joshua next? 👀
