WHEN TO STOP CALORIE COUNTING⁉️

When going into a deficit or surplus the whole point of calorie counting is to understand and learn about the food you’re eating 🍕

Once you’ve been tracking your food for a while you’ll be able to look at the food that you’re eating and have a good eyeball estimate of the calorie and macronutrient values within the food that you’re eating 🍔

‼️PACKING ON THE MUSCLE‼️

🔘 The simple formula behind this transformation is, eating the right foods, eating the right amount and training smart.

🔘It’s the same for everyone but each person has the own unique equation. No one size fits all rule that you will see in these get fit quick schemes. Just the right numbers for the individual at hand.

🔘 Find a trainer who listens and understands your needs. They will get you to your desired goal with the main driver being your own willpower and determination 💪🏼

🔘 The client has chosen to stay anonymous, but has allowed me to share this amazing transformation 💪🏼

Your first steps are always your most powerful 💥

The hard part is keeping it up❗️

Can you keep up❓

☀️Time Off☀️

🔘Rest is just as important as training❗️

🔘Having a week or 2 off isn’t going to derail your progress, it may actually benefit you 💪🏼

🔘Allowing your body to rest will help your body regenerate fully, recovering worn joints and broken down muscles 💪🏼

🔘If you don’t take any rest, your body will tell you through diminishing returns or worse, through injury 🤕

🔘I personally recommend after 12 weeks of hard training, having 1 week off is what is necessary to have full recuperation. This will allow you to take the next step in your journey with more energy and fully rested body 💪🏼

🤕INJURIES🤕

We all get them to some degree, but how do we deal with them?

🔑Patience🔑

That’s the number one key. With a common injury I would usually recommend the RICE (rest, ice, compress and elevate) technique for 1-2 weeks as that usually heals most common injuries.

What I hear in response…

“Thats too long”

“I will loose my progress”

“Actually, it doesn’t hurt that much”

Trust me when saying this, you would rather have 2 weeks off than 1 year. That’s what happened to me. Learning from my own mistakes I hope I can help others.

I am still currently dealing with the effects of bulging my disk and recovering through proper rehabilitation and training. The key thing with this recovery is patience. So just taking it day by day is the way to approach these situations.

And with any sports related injury the best you could do is go and see a physiotherapist ✅

👍🏼Big thanks to for fixing me up with my rehabilitation 👍🏼

🌍Day By Day🌎

🔘 Anything that you are working towards will always take patients, persistence and practice 🕰

🔘 This can you be your business, training or anything that you are striving towards. Understanding the long run instead of the short cuts will help you grow in any endeavour you take on. As the journey is just as important as the destination ⭐️

🔘Motivation🔘

👆What is motivation to you???

🔘If you find yourself stuck, try setting yourself a goal. Use that as a starting point and throughout your journey towards the goal. Then find ways you can track and measure your progress along the way. This will keep you informed and on the right track towards reaching your desired goal.

Keep up the good work!! 💪🏼

💪🏼Keeping it consistent + working hard 💪🏼

That’s all it takes✅

It’s never a straight forward path but the amount of progression has made so far is amazing so keep up the good work and let’s keep striding forward!💪🏼

💪🏼Practice what you preach 💪🏼

🔘Through all my highs and lows throughout my own fitness journey, I make sure I teach my clients the correct ways to achieving their goals. Making sure they stay clear from all the fake “get fit” quick cures we all see online, I give them the real world and what it takes to achieve their goals. There are plenty of unrealistic expectations out there and it’s damaging for many people. But when teaching the truth it allows all of us to see what’s behind the “perfect” image and how it’s really not all that perfect.
