For our adult players—especially whiskey lovers!
Chess and whiskey—more than just art, but an experience. Watching people immerse themselves in the game while sipping fine whiskey was truly special.
I had the honor of being invited as the chess expert to enhance this extraordinary event at the prestigious Raffles Hotel, where we celebrated the launch of a breathtaking chess set adorned with exquisite jewelry by the talented , in collaboration with .
The perfect fusion of craftsmanship, strategy, and exclusive whiskey created an unforgettable atmosphere.
It was also my first time tasting whiskey, and after indulging in a remarkable 40-year-aged single malt scotch, I can’t imagine anything topping that! 🥃
Life is about experiences, not just things. Playing chess in such an elegant setting, stimulating both the mind and the senses, was truly inspiring.
A huge thank you for this opportunity. Also, it was a pleasure meeting !

"In boxing you create a strategy to beat each new opponent, it's just like chess."

Chess knowledge can take you far, but it's the spirit of a fighter that truly makes the difference. In the intricate dance of chess, as in life, success isn't just about knowing the moves; it's about mastering the art of battle. It's about confusing your opponent, pushing them out of their comfort zone, and seizing the moment when they least expect it. This game teaches us the critical skill of maintaining a high level of awareness and alertness. Even a single moment of distraction can be the difference between victory and defeat. Remember, knowledge alone isn't enough. Chess transcends the academic—it's a fight. But instead of physical prowess, it demands a sharp intellect and strategic thinking to navigate the complex battles we face.

Chess has been my lifelong journey, teaching me the art of resilient perseverance. It has instilled in me the ethos of battling fiercely yet gracefully, of contemplating deeply while honoring intuition, and of navigating the delicate balance between complexity and simplicity in decision-making. Above all, it has imbued me with the invaluable lesson of unwavering consistency and the resolve to never surrender!

Perfectionism, although initially appealing, has its downsides. It can lead to hesitation, procrastination, and a fear of mistakes. In chess, like in life, while striving for excellence is important, an excessive focus on flawlessness can impede progress by causing players to hesitate, miss strategic opportunities, and hinder their development.
